You are making a mistake to skip by this spot and going to a hotel. Easy parking, fabulous and comfortable rooms, but the gourmet breakfast is worth it all by itself. Our second visit while passing through town. This is our go to spot. You won’t regret it!

The marilyn suite was amazing. The bed was so comfortable. The mansion was so beautiful. It had amazing antique furnishings, and it was like stepping back in time. I cant wait to visit again.

4 bedrooms in a 100 year old great house, tastefully brought back to life by the owner. The bed rooms and reading rooms were great and breakfast excellent served in a wonderful dining room. 1st class all the way! We would gladly stay here again.

**NOTE** FULL DISCLOSURE on Victor Pepin Suite.
This room does not have a bathroom in the suite. The bathroom for this suite is down 2 flight of stairs and toward the back of the mansion. Prior to arrival I spoke twice with Ron. He said the listing described the bathroom as “detached & private.” Before booking I did not see the description….only the pics which looked like the bathroom was in the suite. Ron’s comment was…no worries…we provide bathrobes.
I was uncomfortable with the bathroom to my suite being so far from my room. It was a disappointing experience.
My purpose of this review is to give travelers accurate info so they can make an informed decision.

Historic, and great, quiet a**osphere. A little clunky getting checked in, only because I am not experienced with these 'alternatives' to hotels. What made it incredible was the free wine and beer just setting out as a reception gift. I found myself walking around, drinking wine, looking at art and photos, and reading the history of the mansion. Very cool.
