Hotel was clean. Booked for a double room but got upgraded to a bigger room . Cleaners were polite, knocked before entering the room and asked if we needed anything. Hotel was very convenient just 2 minute walk from seafront. Would book the hotel again.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Both myself and partner cannot praise the hotel enough and will definitely be back again soon.

Parking is shambles, 6 bays but if you park in the first 3 you get instantly blocked in by someone. The sky tv in the room never worked, hotel staff wake you up at 9am by hoovering the corridors or knocking on the door asking to clean. And for one of the days even the wifi was out.

The Dolphin rooms are essentially a converted mid terrace house situated down a tight, crowded residential street in right in the heart of Cleethorpes. When booking in however I was given the keys to a less than salubrious room.....not good at all and indeed not what I booked. On complaining to the very professional and competent duty manager I was transferred to the Dolphin which was much better....and what I had booked! Whoever thought it wise to do this switch just caused confusion, embarrassment and a feeling that I wouldn't return. Breakfast in the morning was good, served in a very pleasant dining room....why has everything got a for sale tag dangling off it!!!! Staff very good, service excellent.

Actually we didn;t stay at the Dolphin Rooms we got upgraded to the hotel which was far better.

Just a heads up, dolphin rooms is actually a house that has been converted into rooms, which is attached to the Dovedale hotel. You have to check in at Dovedale and meals are also served there. On arriving in our room, we found it clean and modern. Bed was extremely comfy with nice form mattress and pillows. There was tea/coffee making facilities and an iron and ironing board. My only issue with the room was that there wasn’t any storage apart from an open wardrobe area. No drawers or bed side table with drawers, but as we were only staying one night this wasn’t a massive problem. Breakfast was nice, quite small and had to pay an extra charge of £3 for large breakfast which was basically an extra sausage, slice of bacon and tomato. Also there was no cereal, fruit, yoghurt or juice etc laid out for people to get before cooked breakfast, so weren’t sure if we could request these as well as cooked breakfast. Overall its a lovely place and good value for money. Would stay here again.

We had a no frills very clean room. Bar was open till 11am. Parking available. Vegetarian breakfast with the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Very friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was comfortable and clean with good amenities. Dolphin rooms are an Annexe to the Dovedale Hotel. The rooms are conveniently located for transport links, town centre and promenade.

Dolphin rooms is basically a converted terraced house in a street behind the owner’s main hotel, it look’s recently converted and the rooms were good condition, clean and warm. There is a real shortage of parking both at the main hotel and on street, with one of our vans getting a parking ticket for no apparent reason while parked on street…. The photos displayed on the ********** listing are somewhat confusing as some are of the main hotel and some of the house, we were totally baffled when the satnav brought us to a terraced house and it took a while to work out where to go to check in. Better instructions should probably be given on booking and the photos on the adverts should probably be of the actual accommodation being advertised. All in all fairly happy with our stay…

Room was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The only downside was room 35s bed, duvet and pillows need replacing. The bed was so hard and the duvet and pillows lumpy. I would have really enjoyed the stay if the bed wasnt hurting my back. Other than that i would definately stay again. Also the parking isnt great as i had to move my car at 8 30 in the morning when i wanted a chill morning. Had to get dressed leave my daughter in the room . Id maybe park on street next time. But this isnt the hotels fault.

This place (a terraced house on a back street) is close to the train station, clean, and a good size. We couldn't fault the property itself. You just collect a key from the main hotel across the road and off you go. Parking might've been difficult, (unless you can park at the hotel across the road) but we came by train so it wasn't an issue for us. However, we were on the ground floor at the front of the property and the noise travelled. My partner didn't sleep at all on the first night and wondered if the place was used by contractors, out late and up early. The shower was nice and hot and the temperature of the room was OK. Good to have an iron and ironing board in the room too. I liked the firm mattress but my partner found both mattress and pillows too hard. I kind of agreed re the pillows but it didn't stop me sleeping! When we visited, this was cheaper than the Premier Inn. The service just involved giving a key but it worked efficiently. I'm not sure about the services at the hotel. I'd definitely use it again.

The room was adequate for the money, but the bar downstairs was uninviting, dull and the tables were sticky. Nothing to invite you to drink downstairs but an ok stay. Can tell it used to be a nightclub. Beer garden is dull also
