We arrived @ the hotel @ 4:30-4:45. We were told by the front desk that our room was NOT ready. It was being cleaned. We were very unhappy, since we were told check-in was @ 4:00, & I am disabled.
We were meeting friends, & were delayed. We left the hotel as they told is the would call us when the room was ready. We received a call @ 5:25 to tell us our room was finally available. Our group had a total of 6 rooms, & all of theirs were ready, (& one was able to get in early), but ours was not! There was no offer of an apology or any compensation! We were not looking for that, however, something could have been offered, even if it were a late checkout or something! Not a good business practice when people are paying for a "resort" hotel.
