芝加哥-丹尼森智選假日酒店(Holiday Inn Express Chicago-Downers Grove)

I wish they specified that there was construction on the property. It was a pretty big surprise when we got in. The AC was soooo loud. When we turned it off, the room got super hot. And then when we turned the AC on, it was cooler but hard to sleep cuz it’s so loud. And the AC would turn on and off itself throughout the night, so if we ended up falling asleep while it was quiet, we’d wake up again when it turned on. Vicious cycle.

Todo muy bien, solo que había reparación en el lobby y era incómodo entrar al hotel , al desayunar igua. Pero supongo es temporal aunque hubiera Sido bueno saberlo antes de reservar . Todo el personal muy bien, la sra del desayuno muy amable. Desayuno muy completo.

at first I thought I had stepped into the wrong hotel altogether because I had never had such a poor experience at a Holiday Inn Express before. The rooms have no curtains whatsoever, the TV did not work and someone else's hairs were in my sheets. This hotel should be condemned.

This place was dirty. There was even a bandaid over the peep hole. The fire alarm was duct taped on. Very run down. The only positive was they had a decent breakfast

Rude checkin staff. Loud party until 1am. Entire place under construction. A dump.

Horrible experience! Housekeeping, bathroom door needs replaced, overcharged me, shower DID NOT work, front desk not helpful, asked to talk to manager Friday, Saturday and Sunday—he “wasn’t there”. Seems he was hiding( probably in back room).

I booked the hotel and they will charge me half the booking for cancel reservation. But then they book my room for somebody else and leave my family hanging because they overbooked themselves. Room had terrible smoking smells and the manager won't admit the fault. I booked 2 queens for 4 but they replaced the room for a king and a sofa bed because they ran out of room, while I booked it 2 weeks ago. There was really no compensation for it and we just had to deal with the uncomfortable sofa bed instead. This is my last time here, the owner seems to have a bad practice with the guests.

The place was being renovated in the hallways. The room was dusty. Breakfast was so-so.
