公園大道汽車旅館(Park Drive Motel)

Average apartment but fit to its charges. OK for quick 1 night stops.

We chose the motel based purely on price and had no great expectations; just a clean, comfortable place with wifi to spend a night. We have certainly paid more to stay in worse places, and we would recommend Park Drive Motel to other families travelling through.

Perfect for a quick overnight stay whilst travelling. Beds were comfortable and shower was great. Yes it’s old and tired and surroundings are a little bland, but it’s great value for money. A negative for me was all the ash trays outside the rooms which encouraged people to sit outside their rooms and smoke, resulting in the smoke coming straight into the rooms. Shoving a towel under the door helped, but maybe discourage smoking in this area?

Nothing too wrong with this motel. Only stayed one night though. Not super new but well looked after. Had TV, microwave, fridge, controllable air conditioning. Main issue - and it's not a fixable one but just to keep in mind - is that it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the main or high street of town, but a good 30 minutes to the train station.

The room was modern but the buildings are old. Room was clean and neat. Bed was ordinary but comfortable, I had a good nights sleep. Very clean and updated bathroom was also a good point. Value for money but area does not have a good reputation. The manager and staff do a good job

We had a brief overnight stay on our way to Sydney. Room was clean and comfortable, and close to the centre of Kempsey.

Rooms were great but permanant residents in caravan park next door were drinking and fighting through out the night.

The man in the office was super nice. They have a cute resident cat. Overall, happy with everything, free wifi, tv, kettle, complimemtary tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits. Thankyou.

Quiet location. parking was a little limited but made it work. Great location for a rest stop from Qld to Syd.
