德班市城市旅館(City Lodge Hotel Durban)

I really enjoyed my stay. I hope the hotel updates it’s system so that confirmation emails from trip.com don’t go to their spam. I was really annoyed when I had to hold the line and kept calling them. They couldn’t find my booking, only to find it in their spam emails.

The hotel feels old now.

I received value for my money, tasty food, friendly staff, beach & shopping centres are walking distance. If i have to do it again i will pay for the experience again as my expections were met, i am satisfied.

The overall experience was great with friendly staff. The problem was when we were rudely woken up by the sound of drilling from the next room. It being new years day, you can only imagine the trauma of going to bed at 4am and having your hangover drilled into you first thing in the morning. Our start to the new year was then simply ruined as we spent the rest of the day grumpy and miserable.

I ordered my food at 17:40 at the restaurant and requested it be brought to my room. 18:30 food had not arrived went to the restaurant and the waitress gave me my food, I asked for it yo be reheated because no one can eat cool lamb chops. It's now 19:00 as I type still no food at my door. I have since ordered from Uber eats KFC. I'm sure KFC will deliver and I'll still be waiting for my food. Sad part is I signed for it before realizing it was cold. Bad service really.

The place is affordable, clean, safe, and it's near every attraction. It's near the north beach, UShaka marine etc. The staff including security guards are friendly and welcoming. Our stay there was perfect.

I Loved the rooms, they were clean, fresh and welcoming .The shower is lovely. The staff and management were visible and always ready to help. Friendly faces from all the staff. The food was good too. I LOVED the fact that you don’t even feel the load shedding, everything works even when there’s load shedding, TV, shower, lights. Free WI-FI is always a beautiful bonus.

The hotel is super clean. It is safe the gates are always locked access is controlled security is always visible. The staff is welcoming,friendly,warm,available and always willing to help. The problem is with the Menu its limiting does not have a variety of meals. I did not enjoy the suppers some meals tasted bad. The kitchen staff need to up their game.

The perfect hotel to stay at when visiting Durban to watch a cricket match at Kingsmead. Room was spotlessly clean and crisp white linen. Very friendly staff and safe parking. Would highly recommend this hotel.
