I did like that the staff were as accommodating as possible under the circumstances. I booked a river-view room with a king size bed but instead got a room with 2 queen size beds and a view of the river and the dirt, spider webs, and dead bugs in the window. Not ideal for an anniversary trip. I was told that they were overbooked because ******* makes the bookings whether there is space available or not and was recommended to book directly with the hotel, should there be a next time.

This hotel needs a lot of upgrades throughout. Plus, our room was not comfortable. The bathroom door didn't fit on the frame of the door, so was very hard and loud to close. Our toilet wouldn't stop running. Asked for a cot because the sleeper sofa was not comfortable at all, but we were told that we could not have one. Just not a good experience.

The uniqueness was the congestion around that whole area. Of course, the bridge construction next door didn't help but it is very confusing for a newcomer to find the way around. Also, was blindsided by the $10 per night parking fee. Don't think that was disclosed when making my reservation.

Lobby is still impressive. Breakfast buffet looks nice, but there aren't a lot of options for those who can't have dairy. Rooms are dated, carpet and furniture was dirty, toilet continually flushed even after I reported it and it was supposedly repaired. Large family in #309 kept me awake until 2:30 a.m. (not the hotel's fault, but it didn't help me feel good about my stay).

I came to Peoria for a quick mommy daughter day and we both was so excited for our “presidential room”. The room was dirty and very dusty, the bath tub was dirty and it had a spider and spider web in it. The dining table had sticky stuff and finger prints on it. There were weird dried up stains on the headboard and couch. The coffee maker was dirty. There was fingerprints all over the doors and room surfaces. Animal hair and thick dust was everywhere. The microwave door was broke and the carpet needed vacuuming. None of the clocks were set correctly. I immediately called the front desk and the guy who checked me in answered. I let him know the room was not clean and he said he would send housekeeping up. I asked if I could just switch to another room and I was told they did not have any other presidential suites. My view was a window full of spider webs and at night huge spiders were on the webs. House keeping and one of the managers came up. One of the housekeepers tried to make an excuse why the bathtub was not clean. She did end up cleaning it out and the manager had a microwave brought from another room. I was really disappointed with this stay and the front desk customer service. I was clearly given the one of the worst rooms he could have put me in. This room was not worth $500 and I would not recommend it.

This is a beautiful property located on the Illinois river. It was very quiet even our room which was located directly across from the elevators. The complimentary breakfast was VERY nice with ample tables & chairs. My only negative is the thermostats in the rooms are very odd. A plate on the wall explains how to adjust the temp, but I never could get it to work for me so room temp was too warm and hence I DID NOT sleep well!

o cafe da manha é muito bom , mas o hotel precisa urgentemente de reforma o ar condicionado que é central esta com muito barulho , a parte hidráulica muito barulho tambem , limpeza dos quartos deixa a desejar , a banheira tem uma mancha preta na base que deixa com um aspecto de suja

The rooms were big and comfy. However the windows need a nice cleaning, we had River view but windows were so dirty. There was no hot tub which was disappointing. But everything else was great. The breakfast was really good.

The doors deadbolt would not lock, safety is everything!! Housekeeping knocked on the door at 9am to check which room was empty. Minus the stain on the corner of the comforter, the room and surrounding area was clean.
