Nous avons passé un séjour parfait à l’hôtel 21212. La chambre était tout simplement magnifique, spacieuse et décorée avec beaucoup de goût, avec une superbe vue sur le parc. L’ambiance générale rappelle celle d’un hôtel particulier de l’époque victorienne, avec ce charme unique et raffiné. L’emplacement est idéal : central mais au calme, ce qui permet de profiter d’Édimbourg à pied sans stress. Le personnel a été adorable, toujours souriant et aux petits soins, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus agréable. Un lieu plein de caractère, chaleureux et élégant — je recommande sans hésiter à ceux qui veulent vivre une parenthèse d’exception à Édimbourg.

Abbiamo dormito tre notti in questo hotel 5 stelle con solo 4 camere/suite. Palazzo tipico inglese, bello e signorile, la nostra suite era al terzo piano senza ascensore e le valigie te le porti tu. Il WiFi non funzionava proprio, solo poche volte. La colazione viene servita in una sala con un tavolo ovale e otto poltroncine, sono sincero la quantità è la varietà sono scarse, e non puoi servirti da solo una seconda volta, non esiste. Di sicuro a 5 stelle c’è il prezzo pagato.

We arrived by tram from the airport, it was raining cats and dogs. It took a while until a grey haired middle-aged lady opened the door, she told us she didn't expect any guests at this time of the day. We were 45 minutes early, it was 2.15pm, check-in is earliest at 3pm. Since it was raining I asked whether we could wait those 45 minutes in the lobby, the answer was a short "NO". Then I asked whether we could at least leave our bags behind. Again she replied with "NO". She basically sent us outside into the rain again, with both our huge bags! This is not a form of welcome anyone would expect at the room price of 300€ per night. The room was good but there was a lot of street noise.. Anyways our stay was ruined by the rudeness and incompetence of the welcome procedure of that lady in the reception. Never EVER again.

A hidden gem in the heart of Edinburgh, thank you Katie for a wonderful stay. An elegant hotel with charm and character throughout, our room was incredibly spacious packed with everything we could need. A large bed, sofa, tv and excellent shower all made the stay comfortable and relaxing. The true character stemmed from our host Katie who created a warm and homely atmosphere throughout or stay. If you are looking for something a little bit different with style and class, then I cannot recommend 21212 enough.

Katie and Beth… thank you thank you thank you! We had such an unforgettable few nights with you in June. The exquisite rooms, the beautiful tea trays, the comfortable sitting room with stunning views, the delicious breakfast, the tranquility and convenience of the location.. You made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble.It was a special few days celebrating a graduation with all the grand parents there. We will definitely be back. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and wish you both all the very best.

As this was our first trip to Edinburgh, we were unaware of exactly what to expect in regards to location and accommodations. When we first arrived at the restaurant/hotel, we were a little concerned because it did not look like a hotel, but rather a house with a restaurant. Our concerns completely vanished as soon as Beth opened the door and welcomed us in. She was quick to explain that they were in a state of transition of the restaurant. It did NOT matter at all since the location was a short walking distance to amazing restaurants and coffee shop options. There are only a handful of rooms, but each was extremely spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed. The real star of our trip was Beth. She provided us amazing insight as to what restaurants to go to, and where to walk. We literally had a personal concierge who gave us amazing recommendations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
