This hotel is a fantastic deal for the money and is definitely a 4 star rating. It’s ideally located next to a ton of amenities such as coffee, juicery, yoga studio , etc

Parking is $16 in their lot. Also they never told us it was a no smoking patio and charged me over $150 fee when never smoked in the room. No curtains covered the windows in room either. Front desk wouldnt work with me with any fees. Never go there again.

Had to move rooms half way through stay. Heard many others complaining of room cleanliness. You can tell that this property has not had any proper PMs done for a long time in both the rooms I stayed in. Had a cricket get into my room, I assume through the 1/2 inch gap under the door because the door sweep was missing. Complaining and was told they only had 1 room with a king to move too even though I booked for 4 adults. Some how they were able to put me in a suite, when I demanded 2 room so all of our party had a bed. Staff was very unfriendly, at one point I tried to exchange a soda I bought at their front desk because it was expired and tasted weird. I was made to show the front seat person exa the expiration date on the bottle in my hand before she would exchange it.

Pros: quiet and the air conditioning works really well, reasonably priced includes a basic breakfast. Easy parking & great location Cons: housekeeping; the room appeared clean when I checked in. However, the next morning I noticed that there were no bath towels so, I used a hand towel to dry off. In retrospect, suspect the bed was made and dirty towels removed without really cleaning. I did call for towels for the next morning and they were delivered promptly. There was no “light touch” conducted on day 2. There are no coffee makers in the room

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I arrived about 2 hours before check-in and asked if I could check-in early since I had taken a very early flight and was exhausted. Ursula was very kind to let me do so. The covered parking was nice to have. There was a nice variety of choices for breakfast. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed for just one night. Hotel staff was friendly uppn check in. Room smelt musty and furniture was in need of replacing (torn/shredded leather). Walk to the beach was about 10 minutes and included a very long staircase down. Beach was illuminated at night thanks to some cliffside lights. Due to the long staircase, I'm not sure this would be my spot for a beach vacation though. Breakfast was meh, the biscuits were hard as a rock and everything was just randomly spread throughout the room. Just not the standard we've come to expect and love from a holiday inn express. It worked for us for one night, but everything just felt a bit off from our usual stays at a Holiday Inn Express.
