磁鐵酒店(Hotel de Magneet)

camera pulita ma un po’ angusta, non avevamo granché spazio. Ci hanno subito risolto un problema al miscelatore dell’acqua calda della vasca perché non funzionava. .i proprietari molto disponibili e gentili. La colazione buona sia per il salato che per il dolce. Nel complesso nella media. Aspetto favorevole la posizione è ottima per poter visitare la città, cinque minuti a piedi. il parcheggio a disposizione dell’hotel è piccolo, possiede solamente 10 posti auto anche se noi abbiamo trovato posto.

Met 10 vriendinnen Hoorn bezocht. Bij het parkeren heeft een van de vriendinnen haar auto zwaar beschadigd. De eigenaar, die ons toevallig passeerde, heeft ons fantastisch geholpen zodat we weer verder konden. Na afloop van een gezellige dag hebben we bij hem thee gedronken. Het hotel zag er geweldig uit en nodigde zeker uit om een keer te verblijven. De eigenaar is echt een topper. Wij komen graag nog eens langs.

Nous connaissions cet hôtel pour y avoir séjourné il y a longtemps , mais il s’est rappelé à notre souvenir lors de notre passage récent à Hoorn . Entretemps , il a changé de propriétaires , s’est un peu modernisé sans en changeant cependant l’âme . Nous y avons trouvé beaucoup de gentillesse avec le soucis de se rapprocher de sa clientèle. Les chambres, dans les petites maisons annexes , sont confortables, très propres, avec petite bouilloire, thé , café etc ….seul l’accès y est un peu difficile, précisez si vous avez un petit handicap . Le petit déjeuner est très complet , frais et vous met dans les meilleures dispositions pour visiter la très jolie ville de Hoorn Parking de l’hôtel très pratique , de l’autre côté de la route .

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. De eenpersoonskamer was wel erg klein en zag er wat gedateerd uit, echter alles was aanwezig en functioneerde goed. Bed was goed. Ontbijt volgende dag prima, verse broodjes, scrambled eggs of gekookt, alles ruim gesorteerd. Parkeren was moeilijk, ik kon gelukkig zaterdagnacht gratis een overdekte parkeergarage op 5 minuten loopafstand gebruiken. De eigen parkeerplaats van het hotel buiten is vrij klein en was vol.

Another enjoyable stay at this hotel. Conveniently placed with its own car parking area, even if it is a bit tight to get into. Friendly owners and staff. Excellent choices for breakfast. Comfy rooms. Near to some very good restaurants for evening meals.

Loved our stay at Hotel de Magneet . Hoorn is a charming city and a very convenient location for exploring Old Holland, The Zuiderzee Museum and is also very close to Amsterdam by bus or train. The modern hotel is located a short walk to the bus and train station . The room was located in the garden and was quiet, clean and comfortable . The bathroom was very clean with a bath and all amenities. The included breakfast was extensive with both hot and cold options . It was served buffet style in a newly renovated and sunny restaurant area. The room also had a kettle and a TV. The owners were very helpful with recommendations and always on hand to answer any questions. There are lots of cafes and restaurants close by in the main square and the harbour.

My wife and I stayed for two nights and arrived by train. It was a 15 minute walk from the train. We stopped for lunch in town on the way and the oath took us along the canals. Then we explored the harbor area, which is very close. During our stay we traveled by train to Enkhuizen to their history museum. We also explored the Westfries Museum, which is very close to the hotel. This is all to say that the hotel was in the midst of it all. The breakfast was very nice, and our room was everything we needed. Clean and neat. The public toilets are the best we have seen in the Netherlands! Now, we must share that we also received such personal attention during our stay. We were given a free tour booklet that the hotel has developed as a walking tour for the town. It was in English, and we enjoyed finding history that we did not hear in other places we visited. They were keen to keep our bags the last morning after checkup while we visited the museum. You should also ask about a special Havenbitter liquor that is made by the hotel. All in all, it was an incredible experience. Proost!
