Typisches Motel direkt an der Ortsdurchfahrt, daher nicht sehr ruhig. Check-In verlief schnell und sachlich nüchtern. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und einfach eingerichtet, blitzsauber und es roch angenehm frisch. Leider fehlte ein Sichtschutz-Vorhang. Neugierige Blick vermied man also nur, wenn man das Zimmer komplett abdunkelte. Das WLAN-Passwort wurde beim Check-In über ein Papierschnipsel ohne Angabe des Netzwerks bekanntgegeben. Es funktionierte bei keinem der erreichbaren Netzwerke. In der Lobby wird morgens ab 7 Uhr Kaffee serviert.

Stayed solo for one night in July as part of a 25 property/47 night USA road trip, so this review is relatively objective. Easily found adjacent to the highway with plenty of parking. Pleasant staff. Old style motel that has been successfully remodelled. Clean, comfortable and large enough room on the 2nd floor. Those with limited mobility should be aware that there is no elevator/lift. No aircon, but the open window provided adequate fresh sea air during a hot period. Surprisingly very little night time traffic noise. Easy walking distance of the historic old town waterfront with plenty of bars/eating opportunities. No breakfast offered - but there was coffee etc in the reception area. A good pit stop, albeit a little pricey for the standard, but hey schools out and it was their ‘season’.

Great Place to Stay! Lots of stairs, no elevator! So, if you are disabled like we are and don't do stairs well it is very difficult! Comfortable room and bed with a great view of the waterfront! Fantastic Breakfast while watching the ships on the water!
