My family and I recently stayed at this property after our flight was canceled due to Tropical Storm Debbie. I needed to find a place rather quickly and came across this Courtyard in the Bonvoy app. Upon arrival, we were granted early check-in, which was a huge plus as we had been up early, hoping to get out of Southwest Florida before further flooding occurred. Our room was modestly appointed with two queen beds and clean linens. The room was damp despite the AC trying to keep up with the constant humidity. My wife and kids could use the clean hotel pool, which kept them well entertained while I attended to some work calls in the room. The staff is overall friendly and very accommodating. For convenience, a restaurant adjacent to the property can be walked to, and the food was pretty tasty. Well our stay was mostly out of necessity, I would think about re-booking again if passing through the Fort Myers area.
You’ll find us 20 minutes from Southwest Florida International Airport. We’re a short five-minute walk from downtown shops and restaurants and only 15 minutes from tranquil sandy beaches. Enjoy free daily hot breakfast and WiFi, along with our fitness center, business center, and outdoor pool.
Lovely new hotel. Warm greeting. Nice room. Comfortable beds. A little too dark: had to go out and buy and brighter bulb for the lamp in order to have a good reading light. Strange to have a little ”kitchenette” with microwave, fridge and coffeemaker without a sink, which used to be normal for Springhill Suites. Really miss that sink. Also, the new concept combines the lavatory with the toilet and shower. We prefer the divided concept where one person can use the lavatory while the other uses the bathroom. But we had an enjoyable stay and will likely stay there again.
We stayed at this hotel from January 17 to 25. We found it to be old and poorly maintained. Everything about the place was done on the cheap. Very limited breakfast bar operated by people with surly attitudes, none of the fitness center equipment worked properly, shower was poorly configured (cold water sprays on you when you turn it on), towels are paper thin, a drawer in our room would not close. On top of all that, it is way over priced.
Helena Guest, the Hansens. The hotel was spotless before the storm, during the storm and after the storm. Certain staff went above and beyond. At check-in Joey was professional during immense outside pressure conditions. Housekeeping let me have my peace without pressure. One important team member with Housekeeping, Maria, took care of what I asked for under 2 seconds. Throughout our stay (we will need accomadations longer due to damage) as I looked around Maria was at different locaions cleaning away. Thank the Lord for you and yours... Jennifer Pomphrey.
Ggsams12Booked last minute for an early flight. The location was a little difficult to navigate at night..but worth the effort. I found the pool to be warm and comfortable...although the elevator could certainly use an update.. everything else was clean and well maintained. The work out room near the pool looked clean and well equipped..although I didn't use it. Breakfast looked like the typical hot bar found in most decent hotels. No complaints. The room I had was on the 2nd floor. Beds were very comfortable....bathroom was clean.. refrigerator was cold. The heating and air seemed to work fine for an older unit. I would definitely choose this location again when flying out of Fort Myers. An easy drive in the morning...and a relaxing last night in the area.
訪訪客We love this location right in the middle of downtown Fort Myers, Florida. We've stayed here a few times, including before the recent renovation. There is a an interesting variety of rooms with different layouts which we enjoyed. This time we chose a King room with balcony and city view. The balcony is small but big enough for 2 people and while it does have an ok ”city view,” it also looks down upon another roof below with all the air conditioners (something we do not like when paying extra for a ”view”). However, you can also see the river along with a bit of Patio DeLeon, in the middle of downtown Fort Myers. At night, is where the view shines with all the colorful lighting and usual music can be heard from live musicians. This room is fairly large for a boutique hotel with a larger than usual TV. However, the TV and dresser on which it sits are oddly placed in a corner at an angle, and pretty far from the bed detracting from the size of the screen. Programming is not in HD and also not set to the correct proportions (everything was vertically compressed) and the remote does not allow adjustments for this. It has a nice kitchenette area with a mini fridge but no microwave which we thought it should have given the price for the room and how inexpensive small microwaves cost (It may have been an option but it should already be there). Shower is very nice but every 30 seconds the water pressure dropped, then climbed back up - no biggie, just odd. Toilet paper seemed cheap for this type of hotel but all other items seemed to match this type of hotel. You have to pay $3 per bottle for the 2 bottles that are already in the room. It's like ”nickel and diming” for something as inexpensive as bottled water - like having no microwave, it takes away from the experience given the price of the room. Some light fixtures were not fully seated into the ceiling and like most hotels, the air vent in the bathroom had visible dust (I realize most people don't even look at these things, but I tend to notice it). The bed, although newer, was very firm, and not what we typically find in an upscale hotel. The walls are ”thin” allowing sounds from outside and adjacent rooms to be heard which is just an observation, not necessarily a negative. Front desk personnel were friendly, professional and helpful. Parking options are basically valet or one of 2 nearby parking garages. One parking garage is literally across the street which worked great for us at a lot less than using valet - pros and cons to each. The ice machine on our floor was not working which requires you to acquire ice on another floor (we were on the 7th floor - the top floor). There is a nice little rooftop bar which has a similar view of the city as our room but a little higher. The bar area has decent seating with a good mix of small couches, chairs and high top tables. We did not eat or have room service during this stay but it's available. Overall, it's a very nice, small hotel in an ideal, convenient location and we will definitely go back.
訪訪客The trip to the hotel was very relaxed and refreshing wood come back to again and a gain also the price was a very good one I will recommend you come to fort Myers and get a ride to the best places in yown
Hurricane-damaged and tired, but the renovations continue. The historical mineral springs and buildings are history but the adjacent ”Tiki Bar” is really hopping at night. Management is renovating the motel building, leaving the grounds/sidewalks covered in parts/junk, several tradesmen sleep nearby in their cars, but the motel room interiors are in excellent condition. Basic breakfast selections in a once-proud restaurant.
