But the true star was the staff - warm, helpful, and always smiling. Special mention to Tshering, a kindness ambassador who transformed our trip. He wasn't just a hotel employee, he was our local expert and friend. He took us beyond tourist traps, introduced us to Sikkimese culture Tshering's infectious enthusiasm made every day an adventure. Even tshering taught us his local language lepcha which is a very interesting language and very fun to learn and one of the lines that I learned is kayou Lata chamsetni that means we will meet again soon. Beyond Tshering's magic: delicious Sikkimese cuisine, spacious and spotless rooms, and a convenient location topped off the experience. 100 Petals isn't just a hotel, it's a gateway to an unforgettable Gangtok adventure. 5/5 stars!

One of the finest and cleanest hotel in Gangtok that I had ever stayed. And Mr. Tshering you are too good and polite with us we fell in love with your hospitality. Keep up your good work, we will visit again and we will stay at 100 Petals just because of you Mr. Thsering. Thank you.

We had a wonderful service during our stay in December .nice stafff good hospitality…cozy rooms with friendly stafff nice location and a good view overall the experience was very nice ……………………………………..willl definitely recommend this for everyone

We had a lot of concerns while booking a hotel in Gangtok and took a leap of faith with 100 petals. The result is we would go back to Sikkim just to spend time at 100 petals. 1. Property and Room : Room with balcony was spacious enough for 2 people. Very nice space to eat meals as well next to the balcony. Excellent and calming views from the balcony. A third of our time was spent there. Extremely comfortable bed, hygienic and running hot water. Property is not ostentacious but very cosy and a 15 min cab ride away from the main market, MG Marg which will cost you around 150-200 INR one way. 2. Food : The variety of food ***** with taste was just brilliant. We ended up having breakfast and dinners at the property. Extremely fresh and tasty vegetarian food with a huge variety. Breakfast over 2 days - Puri Bhaji, Aloo Paratha with Curd, Coleslaw sandwiches, Omelette, Masala Poha, cut fruits and local orange juice. Dinner over 2 days - Chicken kadhai, Butter chicken, mixed veg sabzi, veg kolhapuri, roti, jeera rice, plain rice, salad, dal, clear veg soup. 3. Staff : The best aspect of 100 petals was the staff, the best of the best being Tshering Youngming, Sandesh, Prem (apologies for not remembering the others at the reception desk). Tshering was especially outstanding from the start of booking our rooms, allaying our concerns and being prompt with confirmation and query resolution. On the day we were supposed to reach , the 3.5 hr journey from Bagdogra to Gangtok took 7 hrs. Tshering proactively spoke to Nirmal Gurung our super cab driver and gave him directions. Inspite of the late hour (10pm - everything closes at 9), Tshering realising that we must be tired after the horrendous car ride, politely asked if he should send the food to the room after we freshen up. He also took down Nirmal's number and coordinated with him regarding our timings the next day. What a lovely holistic time we had at Sikkim, nothing touristy and only genuine people, nature, cute fluffy doggos and food. PS: We made the mistake of spending 3 days in Darjeeling. Absolute disaster. Extreme overcrowding, very very touristy, more vehicles than people with diesal fumes rampant in the air. Both of us fell sick there. The only redeeming quality of Darjeeling was the Zoo. While choices are strictly personal, spend more time in Sikkim rather than Darjeeling.

It was my family trip with 4 senior citizen people. But I must thanks Tshering Youngming the ***ager and all the other hospitality staff gave us beautiful and very comforting service. We de***ded our food and to our surprise we received that and it was so delicious. Thanks to everyone there and keep it up always.

Recently just 2 days after my birthday I have gone to my all time favourite place Sikkim & there in gangtok I had a pleasant stay at "100 Petals". The rooms are spacious with a beautiful view of the valley from the balcony. Bathrooms are clean. Staff here are friendly and courteous. Hotel is conveniently located from the market place and tourist spots. Vehicles on rent are easily available. Mr. Tshering Youngming and Karma are the best hosts you can get, they are very polite, friendly and helpful persons. Here the Food is amazing, especially the organic veggies grown here locally. All in all it was a great experience. I would love to visit again and again.

A scenic Hotel. Located just 3-4 km before MG Road. The majestic view from the balcony is breathtaking. Rooms are spacious and cozy. The staffs are well behaved and professional. Especially Mr. Tshering Youngming who took care of our food arrangements and was very accommodative. Overall an amazing stay at 100 Petals.
