金星大陸酒店(Golden Star Continental & Spa)

This is a good mid range hotel in Gangtok. Stayed a total 4 nights. Located within walking distance to MG Marg though it's an uphill climb. Staff is very polite and attentive. English is well understood. Amenities wise, there is no AC so might be a bit cold in winter. There is a fan for the hotter months. The room is quite big and lighting is more than adequate. I got a room facing the mountains so I can open the windows for some fresh mountain air. Overall, it's a good value hotel that tick most boxes so I would consider staying here again.

Check in - 24/Dec/21 Check out - 26/Dec/21 Stayed here as part of the package deal from a tour operator and found this place very approachable on the main road going towards M G Road. Rooms are big and well furnished, clean. Geyser in washroom for hot water. Tea maker in room. Breakfast served hot with few options is satisfactory. Behaviour of the hotel staff and pantry staff are very pleasing Lift is not there, thus for senior citizens please request room in the reception floor. Due to teh location vehicle movement sound late at night or early morning may disturb your sleep. You may try this hotel if on budget travel

Neat, clean, easily accessible, very near the centre. Quiet, pristine view of valley. Enjoyed my stay. Attentive and friendly service by Sudhir Singh was commendable and better than other hotels I have used earlier during my frequent visits to Gangtok.

It was very horrified experience with this hotel rooms and bathroom are very small services are very poor when asked for service they said they did not have enough staff they didn't in it was very horrified experience with my 4year old child

Pros: relatively close to MG Marg but far away enough from the noise. Fairly new and clean. Great staff who goes out of their way to help you. I had a room with mountain view, away from the street. The room is big with bright lighting. There are lots of power sockets for your electronics. Cons: no AC which is only am issue in the colder months. I had no problems without AC during my stay. It's an uphill climb to get to MG Marg for food and shopping but I considered this good exercise. Overall, would definitely recommend this place and will come and stay again.

All staff members and all hotel amenities are very good Food also good and staff members are polite and respectful i am happy to staying here hotel room view looking amezing rooms clean and all facilities available

The hotel is awesome…Service provided by them is very good. location is very good you can go to the super market and all the things which are near by it.. The night look is very well..The food is ok. The room provided by them is very nice and room cleaning is also good..

Room size are too small for deluxe room. Only vegetarian food is available not even eggs are in the menu. This should be included in hotel description rest everything is good. Staff is helpful and supportive. I jave good experience here. thanks

Excellent and comfortable experience Had a wonderful time with them in the beautiful city Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice
