Our experience with this hotel was not good, to say the least. To begin with, during the check-in they tried to sell us a time share. ”Just have an open mind and attend our 90-minute presentation”. The attached image shows some of the perks they were offering for 90 minutes of our time. If you are new to the time share scam, then PLEASE DON'T. They have very capable sales people who will massage you until you sign. After that, you'll never be able to back out. Not even your kids. You can find it easily on Youtube. We did not sign up. But let's get to the real problem. We are a family of 5. They gave us a room adjacent to a maintenance room. The noise was such that we could not sleep. Imagine three grumpy kids who are super tired but can't sleep. The front desk told us that nothing could be done about that because it's an older hotel. When I insisted, politely but firmly, they threatened to call the police. After a while they actually did, and I heard the sheriff asking if I was armed and violent. That was a real eye-opening for somebody who never even got a parking ticket. Still can't believe it. This left a scar that will need some time to heal. I gave up and went back to that room, because I did not want my career and life damaged by being arrested. They reported me as ”disorderly” and ”unwilling to leave the premises”, and requested police assistance to remove me from the lobby. I would recommend to everybody to avoid this place.
