野地酒店(The Wilderness Hotel)

Good service, the staff was helpful when my safe was malfunctioning, they sent a maintenance person during night hours to fix it!

Vi ble godt tatt imot, rom ble endret når de så oss, slik at vi fikk bedre rom enn de vi først skulle få. Nye fliser på bad, men glemt å feste toalettet og mugg i taket. Veldig fuktig innendørs. Det rant vann av vinduene på innsiden, og aircon hadde sett sine beste dager. Trenger en oppgradering for å møte et internasjonalt klientell som vil bo på hotellet

We were booked in for a week at the Beacon Isle Hotel at Plettenburg Bay. I was pleasantly surprised at the revamp of the entire hotel, as I was their many years ago. The location of the hotel is really wonderful with sea views that are outstanding. We had visits on our windowsill from curious seagulls gently cooing for our attention. The lounge and sea lounge was amazing I could have sat their all day long just watching the waves crash on the rocks below. The town itself we found was very expensive especially the boutiques and dress shops. The bakeries served the most delightful cakes and pastries and we fell in love with the almond croissants they served, delicious! The courtesy bus took us into town and we had two hours to browse. I will definitely be back, it was great and the staff were always very friendly. The rooms were very comfortable taking care of all your needs.

Lovely stay at hotel with an authentic feel and charm. Spacious rooms and well kept facilities. Great breakfast spread and ambient fireplace

The room was neat, although it appeared that the floor was not cleaned properly. Also the bathroom is missing some towel rails to hang the hand towel by the wash basin. A shelf under the basin would be an added advantage to store cosmetics

Excellent, as always, we love staying at the Wilderness Hotel. We would recommend this to everyone. can't wait for our next visit.

Great value, impeccable service, wonderful staff and very comfortable beds. Our room was basic but we never needed anything extra. It was clean and we felt safe the entire time we stayed there. The food was delicious, too. I would definitely return.

The hotel need a bit of revamp more especially the reception area, the passage and aircon(s) in the rooms is very old need to replaced.

I want to add that I nearly left the hotel feeling very despondent until Tracy Mokhali walked into me and asked how I am enjoying my stay.... it was at this moment that I felt her warm embrace, literally as if she wanted to hug me as I told her about my stay / experience! She very quickly and professionally sorted this all out by speaking to / and calling the manager to have a chat with me. Tracy was prepared to give up her very own room to make my stay better! I swear I would've left the hotel, very unhappy and would've shared my views until I had encountered her. Today I saw her and told her how she made my stay so easy and comfortable for both my daughter and I. I even called my hubby last night to let him know how accommodating Tracy and Roelof were. My family and I will definitely be back, all because of them. Roelof, the manager made me feel quite special too. I know that the hotel is quite busy but he took time out of his crazy schedule to have a chat with me. Holidays are enjoyable and checking in at hotels are usually easy and guests tend to be happy, more so when the receptionist joins in on the smiles and "holiday vibes" - I did however feel the receptionist to be quite abrupt - even the way she spoke to the Rugby boys / other guests..... Again, I re-iterate the way Tracy made my daughter and I feel, was really special! THANK YOU, TRACY AND ROELOF! Stay Blessed! Kelly
