LilyRose酒店(LilyRose Hotel)

Pros: room was clean and bed very comfortable. Cons: I'm laid in bed at 8am. Listening to "staff" having conversations outside or room and constant banging from, presumably, the cleaner. Then the drilling from the building works kicks in. That was great. What a shame. Contemplated staying another night but this morning just topped it off. Walls far too thin and inconsiderate staff. Will not return.

The hotel is very basic, no breakfast option and the walls must be made of paper as we hardly slept as you can literally hear the next rooms conversations. In room facilities poor. Even for budget hotel this feels more like a hostel than a hotel.

LilyRose is a lovely little hotel! Firstly I’d recommend booking directly with the hotel on their website to get the cheapest price! The buildings age and layout give you some classic guesthouse vibes but with better furnishings and decor. I had the Zebra Jungle Room! It was a one wall jungle theme with a few feature pillows/lamps, enough to make it feel different to a bog standard room but not to in your face. It had everything I needed- comfy bed, plenty of comfy pillows, kettle with a good selection of tea/coffee and biscuits, a great shower with plenty of setting options, complementary toiletries and a large android TV. It was clean throughout and plenty of towels were provided. It is Perfectly located about 2 minutes walk to the west cliff/beach and 5 minutes down to the Harbour/Town. The communication with Lily/Sherrie through the website was great, it has its own messaging platform and the responses are super quick. I had detailed instructions to access my key from the key safe and also on how to use the parking scratch card (included in your room booking). Parking was easy and I got a space right outside the hotel. Sherrie, the manager, was on site at check out time making sure everyone was happy with their stay, which was a lovely touch. I will be returning for another stay in the future!

Met my partner in Whitby and stayed in The Lilyrose hotel. No one on site when checking in, however we managed to get to our room without any issues. There are a lot of stairs which could be an issue with anybody whom has any mobility issues Hotel description is slightly misleading as the hotel is not as close to the sea as it makes out - we were expecting a room with a sea view. What we got was a room that was overlooking the rear street and had a very small bathroom. Apparently a deluxe room, however was very small and not what we were expecting. Very thin walls and you could hear all the noises from the adjacent rooms, and I mean all the noise! Wifi was virtually non existent. All in all it was a bed to get our heads down on, however I thought it was very expensive and have stayed in much better sea view rooms in Whitby for a lot less money.

Zimmer sind schlicht aber sauber, leichter check in und out. - Fliese im Bad kaputt, Schimmelflecken an der Decke, Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen ,sehr rücksichtslose Nachbarn

There was no hot water for a shower and the window and frame was absolutely filthy!

Really enjoyed ourselves, lovely comfy bed, plenty of tea , coffee and milk. . Close to town and beach .. check in with the key code was so easy to do . Prompt emails back regarding this . Shower was nice and hot . And just a lovely relaxing night . Had breakfast at no 54 cafe/bistro which was excellent.. we will return

We went for a 1 night stay in the botanical room for bank holiday weekend. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The only down side was that at night with it been on the top floor the room was unbearably hot even with the window open so a fan would benefit the room in the summer months. Beautiful view of the abbey from the window though. Service was prompt when my breakfast vouchers weren't in the room on arrival that was soon rectified. Although I wouldn't recommend breakfast at the Granby there's plenty of other places with better quality food for similar price. We would definitely stay again at LilyRose location was great and we found parking easy after purchasing the parking scratchcard. Overall lovely stay.

The room was clean, very comfy beds, great shower big towels, plenty of tea coffee sugar, close to everything the staff were lovely I’m definitely going to stay at this hotel again definitely recommended
