check in procedures varied by guest, stayed with 3 other couples who didn't have to show id, I did which was fine but the occupant next to our unit didn't. I know this because we didn't get to sleep until after 4am. too busy with statements to police about our neighbor. who according to front desk only gave his first name to get his room, he was arrested and brought to jail while we still had to make statements, would have liked some sort of compensation or at least an apology, but none came

Hotel is centrally located but that comes with some noise issues. Staff were unhelpful when I asked to downgrade to a smaller, quieter room. Also unwilling to let us check out at 1 pm unless we paid for half a night.

I love the hotel for its history and architecture. I realize that there are fewer people staying at the hotel now, but it would have been nice to have a bartender on-site at 9 pm to have an evening drink. And I would have appreciated bottled water in my room, even if I have to pay for it.

I was not happy with my room, it was in a run down section of the hotel . Not part of the main hotel
The bartender in the Wiggins restaurant, part of the hotel was very rude . I also spoke to the front desk staff in regards to his professionalism, and they didn’t seem to care whatsoever

We were looking for something walkable. The hotel was that and more. Pleasant staff and coffee in the lobby in the morning. We sat on the sunporch to begin our day. It was a great stay!

We got there late for a one night stay, the Bar was closed, and that's okay. It's a fantastic historical hotel, the staff was attentive and great with directions to the nearest Bar. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautifully restored and maintained old hotel in the center of town with a delightful tavern. The food is excellent. The staff is excellent. A wonderful place to stay, surrounded by college campuses.
