Top of my list is the peace and quiet,away from the morning noises of the work and school environment...beautiful surroundings for pictures and memoirs,friendly and helpful staff at all departments.Rooms are clean and well kept.Very comfortable beds ( not standard single beds) fit for the oldies which we are....linen crispy clean with a fresh daily supply of towels,hot water supply galore.My only minus however was the use of shower curtains (which I personally nearly tripped on) also considering that the light to the shower is also a fan which is not ideal for chilly weather.... otherwise the room becomes dark.As for breakfast...the best ever buffet served with love (thanks to Anthony and the team).For dinner though,there was very limited choice and the promised buffet was like an ordinery family meal,for the price it was not worth it.Overall beautiful place worth re-visiting.The group is already introducing to their private groups and families.

The Venue Country Hotel & Spa is a great, tranquil resort type establishment. While the room was comfortable, it is in need of a refurbishment. The cuisine was great and the staff provided excellent service. There are beautiful gardens and views surrounding the pool | bar and restaurant area. Spa treatments and bush drives are available for guests. Thank you to Antony and Theo for ensuring we had a pleasant stay.

Booked a birthday weekend for my family at this beautiful hotel and Spa well-positioned as we wanted to explore Hartbeespoort with our 1 year old. Firstly, not even the front Lady noticed we checked in on my birthday and felt the need to make an observation on it but that issue aside, there were both hits and misses, though more of the latter as I would like to detail below. First, to the misses. Upon arrival, there are stairs that lead up to the reception area and no ramp for easy access. We checked in on a raining night and could not be assisted with an umbrella and the stairs did not make moving our wheeled luggages any better. Mind you, we did so carrying our 1 year old on us without any assistance from the main desk. A ramp also makes it easier for wheelchair access. The parking area is located at a significantly far distance from the rooms although a positive there is the shaded parking that's available, protecting cars from rain or hail. It's a long walk from the parking lot to Room 66 for instance. We did not sign any register whatsoever upon us getting to the entrance by the security boom gate, which we felt served as a safety concern. No temperature check was ever done on us upon either entering or exiting. Hand sanitizers are available but not a lot, I struggled to locate one at the restaurant through I later found two of them when I looked closely. An easier access and signage for these especially as a result of Covid-19 would come in handy. The room was simple nice and cozy, though with an odd layout. The coffee station is found inside the wardrobe for instance. Room needed maintenance, from the ceiling that appeared to be coming apart to the entrance at the bottom of the toilet and shower area to be specific. We specified that we're coming with a one year old upon booking. There is literally nothing that the hotel did to accommodate our little one except for a larger bed. Upon arrival, we were told no room comes with a bath tub as we enquired so we had to use the shower and small basin for our little one. We should have brought our baby bathing dish from home to make things easier for us. At breakfast, which was very basic and nothing to write home about, no high chair for our little one was available. We had to eat while holding him on our laps each time we were at the restaurant. I must add that the kitchen manager on duty attended to our request to make a fruit salad, for our little one with which we appreciated. Overall the restaurant staff service is also not the best. To some positives now. The hotel comes with a lot of rooms, 66 in total so there is variety and the hotel seems busy. There is a games room and Lapa/Bona area, ideal for larger groups to connect and engage. Hotel is neat, beautiful with lawns and pool which are well kept. The hotel does try to accommodate children with having playing toys and I saw a jumping castle available. A twin plug was available in the room, together with an extra blanket, working

The Venue hotel is a lovely place to relax. The staff are truly the best asset although the beds and especially pillows are super fluffy and comfy. The restaurant offers only a few options for lunch and dinner, so for an extended stay I would suggest venturing out. The staff are pure GOLD-friendly, helpful and always willing to get what you need to make your stay as perfect as possible!

Budget friendly accommodation, next to the R512 main road. Restaurant and bar on-site as well as an exclusive day spa. Large gardens, swimming pool and kids play area. Sufficient outdoor seating and dining room area is spacious. The standard rooms are spacious enough and have an outdoor shared patio area. Tea/coffee maker in the room, with an en suite bathroom. TV and air-conditioning in the room, with extra blankets. Ladies, no hairdryer, so bring your own. Enough power points in the room. Evenings and early mornings are cold. The food was tasty and the staff friendly.
