白鹿酒店(The White Hart Hotel)

Dieses so genannte Hotel muss entrümpelt werden. Hygienisch eine Kathastrophe. Dieses so genanmte Hotel mit Dorfflair, pardon Bed and Breakfast ist der übelste und das am schlimmsten abgerockte Loch, dessen Missvergnügen ich hatte mich Gast zu schimpfen. Jedes Pfund fliesst höchstwahrscheinlich in den Maserati des Patrons. Das Interieur bedarf dringend einer Grunderneuerung, die Reception gehört aufgeräumt und die Plastikpflanzen haben so viel Staub angesammelt, dass sich bereits wieder darauf Leben entwickelt. Der Ventilator ist seit dem zweiten Weltkrieg nicht mehr entstaubt worden und sammelt den Staub seit Äonen den Fäden nach zu Urteilen (Fotos anbei) Beim Frühstück trieft alles vor Brat/Rapsöl egal ob Spiegelei oder Schinken. Der Frühstückstoast steht schon so lange bereit, dass er anfängt zu schimmeln. Wahrlich kein guter Start in den Tag. Ebenso konnte sich der Kaffee nicht entscheiden ob er doch lieber ein Tee geworden wäre, den Boden der Tasse konnte man gut erkennen. Der einzige Lichtblick war das Abendessen, das vor dem Frühstück eingenommen wurde. Dies war völlig ok.

We stayed for 2 nights. Very impressed with the staff who were very attentive. My elderly aunt needed an anti slip matt for the shower, so one of the staff popped out to buy one as they didn't have any available. Nothing was too much trouble during our stay.

Writing review on behalf of 4 pensioners who went for Sunday lunch. Service was appalling,waited over an hour for their meal. Seems waitress looked after friends n regulars before them as others got their meals before them, despite arriving later! No veggie option offered. No oap discount even though advertised. Sad as they go out every Sunday for lunch and they live in hayle so local too!! They are writing a letter of complaint, let's hope someone listens...sad

So impressed with The White Hart. Wonderful atmosphere and decor. Lovely atmosphere. Super clean and comfortable bedrooms. Excellent food, great chef, and, for anyone into it. Lots of paranormal activity.

Stayed for 3 nights in August 2023. Within a 3 minute walk of the train station so can get about to explore wider Cornwall with ease. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, rooms were a decent size although the shower was somewhat temperamental in terms of heat and power of the water. Very good atmosphere in the place and the breakfast was good every morning; opted to explore the area for our other meals. Parking can also be a slight problem as there aren’t many spaces but plenty of streets nearby.

Excellent service from Emily. Food is outstanding steak was perfcet and home made curry was amazing would recommend to visit and thanks for being dog friendly Andrea Gary . Easy to find also near to town

We had previously called in here for coffee and read some Tripadvisor reviews so knew what to expect. This is no Premier Inn or Travelodge, but an independent hotel with character, which we loved. The location - near the centre of Hayle, 5 minutes from the railway station, and the main bus stops are nearby. There are several cafes and pasty shops nearby. The hotel and decor - full of character, (though some might find it cluttered). The staff - excellent. Reception staff agreed to look after our bags on arrival morning so we could go off to explore, but the room was ready for us as a bonus. The bar staff I found friendly and helpful, and the ladies serving breakfast were cheerful as were the housekeeping staff we met. The food - very good. The breakfast comprised cereal, fruit juice and traditional cooked breakfast, which was plentiful and well cooked. We did not eat evening meals here during our 4 night stay, but the menu although limited did include several options I did fancy. The bar - very much a locals bar busy at the weekend, but none the worse for that. On Friday evening was karaoke which was fun. Sunday afternoon there were two guys on guitar playing cover versions which was enjoyable. Note that it was also possible to sit in the conservatory area, or outside for a quieter drink. During our stay we used the nearby station to make day trips to Penzance and St Ives, and also walked out to Hayle beach and sand dunes. There is also a lot of archaeological history to be explored all around Hayle. I recommend it.

Dirty, smelly and old decor including a pungent boar head and rude staff, an old dark haired woman in particular. WiFi awful, parking bad and poor access for disabled. A very good Sunday roast though.

We stayed here for 1 night while doing the southwest coast path. We found it to be quirky with all the pictures and objects all over but in a nice way. It is a little dated but we had a comfortable nights sleep, a hot shower and a fantastic Sunday lunch served by a lovely pleasant young lady with long blonde hair( didn’t get her name). Breakfast was good and plentiful again great service from a lovely , friendly lady. There was a band playing while having our meal which we enjoyed, what’s not to like 😁
