斯堪迪克卡里奧酒店(Scandic Kallio)

The staff were friendly and courteous, the room was spacious and clean. The amenities were great from what we used, additionally the location is about 15-20 mins from city centre but not an issue in the slightest, also the airport is about 40 mins by public transport. All in all great experience and would recommend.

Не знаю, чем вызвана низкая оценка отеля, но у меня нареканий к проведенному в нем времени не было. Я останавливался буквально на ночь, но мне понравилось: быстрый чекин посреди ночи; компетентные сотрудники на ресепшене, ответившие на все вопросы о рекомендациях по району; чистый номер, достаточно интересно оформленный, удобная кровать; завтрак скромный по выбору, но это стандартно для отелей такого уровня в Европе.

Il pubteggio vero sarebbe tre e mezzo nella media di tutto. L'edificio esternamente è fatiscente e sembrava persino chiuso a vederlo da fuori. La hall è piccolina, ma il personale molto accogliente. Le camere sono carine, hanno un piccolo frigo per poter conservare le proprie cose, la cassaforte, una bella tv, bagno piccolo ma funzionale. L'interno dell'albergo non è male, all'ottavo piano c'è anche una bella sauna a disposizione dei clienti. Colazione buona, ricca e abbondante. Posizione: il quartiere Kallio è poco fuori dal centro, ma passano le linee dei tram 3 e 7 davanti e la 8 a fianco, con le quali si possono raggiungere tutti i punti della città, comodissime. Zona tranquilla, davanti a un campo di calcio di una società sportiva, supermarket a fianco e anche la farmacia. Lo consiglierei a un amico? Si, compresa la gentilezza di tutto il personale

This hotel is far from the Helsinki city center! You will have to take a 30 minute tram ride to get to where most would go in the city! Be prepared to spend taxi and tram money! I would highly recommend staying somewhere else if you are coming to the Finnish capitol as a tourist or for business! The front desk staff found it amusing when I pointed this out!

Given that accommodation in Helsinki comes at a price, the Scandic Kallio represents decent value for money for a city break in this intriguing city. With a stop for four tram lines outside the hotel, it is easily accessible on arrival from the ferry port and railway station, and other parts of the city. Staff on reception were friendly, welcoming and efficient. Our room provided a comfortable bed with all necessary furnishings even if the bathroom and shower facilities were limited for space. The highlight was the excellent buffet breakfast which provided a wide range of cooked and cold items to suit all tastes. Within walking range of the hotel are a variety of bars and restaurants, with the Asian style establishments providing the best value.

Our hotel room was impeccably clean, everything functioned properly. The 2-bed room is just enough for 2 people. BREAKFAST in the hotel is excellent, very rich display of best quality delicacies, attentive staff. It is not easy to find the hotel, as from the outside it does not have any distictive decoration to attract attention (maybe some colourful curtains would help or some balloons). The building looks grey and worndown, but once you get in, the first impression is good and when you step in the elevator, you know this is a clean and reliable hotel. You need the magnetic roomcard for the elevator and sauna too.

I stayed in Scandic Kallio for 8 nights at the beginning of June. The hotel has a bar open Monday to Saturday. Normal closing is 11pm, and 1am Saturday. On two of the weekday nights the bar staff told me to leave the bar as they were closing at 10:30. On Saturday night, I was told it was closing at 11:30, an hour and a half early. I told staff I was not ready to leave. Four non-guests came in about 10 minutes later so the bar stayed open. I complained about this to the manager on Monday morning. The only compensation I was offered was a free drink in the hotel bar! I declined this both because it was inadequate and I did not intend to visit that bar again.

El hotel es agradable y limpio, no está tan cerca del centro, pero hay tranvía y llegas en 10 minutos, andando es más lejos. El desayuno excelente, las habitaciones son más bien pequeñas, pero cómodas, la distribución de las habitaciones es peculiar, pero nada malo que decir.

Pesuhuoneesta oli saippua ja shampoo loppunut. Piti pestä pelkällä vedellä. Lisäksi klo 6 tuli palohälytys ja kikkien piti mennä ulos.
