When we made our reservation in trip.com we pay for 6 person (2 adults and 4 children's ). And when we arrived the person in the reception told us that our room is for 4 pepole,and if we want to add 2 more (1 bed and 1 baby crib) we will need to pay then an extra charge (20$). I was very disappointed because I already payed for 6 person.trip.com You need to sync your system with the hotel.

The room is very nice. Compared to the last place I stayed it’s 100x better. Clean, nice, and good location for when I need to stay out here. Very satisfied.

I would not stay here again. When I walked in, I could tell it would be a bad experience. Staff was friendly (not a professional presence) — the elevator was old and noisy (thought I would be stuck) — the heater made a LOUD whirring noise all night. I was scared to sleep — concerned about bugs —- the bathroom had cracks and patched up holes — I didn’t want to use the shower because I was that grossed out. I also didn’t like the older guy hanging around out front seeming to watch my every move. I did see some unusual bugs on the outside of the building — they looked like bed bugs but were not. Worst sleep — I got up earlier to leave.

I actually "shopped" for a Harrisburg hotel online by price, and was pleasantly surprised that La Quinta was so nice. I'd had luck with LaQuintas in the past, but you never know. I got lucky ... One of my criteria was carpeting. The trend these days is bare floors, but your carpeting broke a tie with other hotels and motels ... Excellent breakfast, too. Didn't know what to expect, but the spread was good and it saved me time and money ...

The hotel had a bad odor upon entering. I was greeted by the front desk clerk as she pulled her shirt on. She was wearing a sports bra so not inappropriate, just unprofessional. Then went to the room to see a damaged door jam that appeared as if someone had tried to pry the door open previously. The bathroom had dirty grout and the tub faucet was dripping even after I attempted to turn it off. I immediately went downstairs to checkout after seeing the room. Manager refused a refund or even a credit of any kind after speaking with *******. The area around the hotel is not the best, but that doesn’t mean the hotel doesn’t have to have basic acceptable accommodation standards. This negative experience was definitely a first for me (as ******* ratings are generally accurate) and the refund/credit refusal was frustrating as I did not even use the room. One positive is there are quite a few fast food options nearby so if you do stay there, you are almost guaranteed to find something you like!

The ceiling in our hotel room was literally falling. Water damage circles and plaster holes in the ceiling. My kid was afraid the ceiling was going to fall on her and refused to sleep on that side of the room. Also the shower head was pointing out of the shower so when it was turned on it sprayed the whole bathroom. We used all of our towels drying the entire bathroom.

Really nice hotel for the money, very clean extremely comfortable pillows were awesome. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Felt comfortable and safe. It’s in a good area. Easy to get to plenty of parking front desk clerk was very hospitable. I would definitely stay there again. Also it is pet friendly, and very inexpensive. I was really impressed with how clean it was….

Hotel was dingy and the room had a weird smell. There wasn’t any hot water for showers for the duration of our stay. We were in town for a soccer tournament so my child had to take cold showers after the games each day. Attendant on duty was clueless as to how to help, there was no on site maintenance tech. I won’t ever stay at a La Quinta again.
