First, the refrigerator was broken. It look like somebody had tried to break into it when it was locked. They did bring us another refrigerator and put it underneath the counter, but did not take the old broken one way.
The ice machine on the eighth floor was broken and we couldn’t get off on any of the other floors to get ice so it had to be delivered daily
We only had room cleaning one out of the three days we were there …I did not leave a tip
The housekeeper did ask me in the hall if we needed more towels and tossed them to me from the card when I said yes
I was unable to get free Wi-Fi and less I signed up for the envoy Marriott app so I had to go downstairs twice in my pajamas wants to ask why we didn’t have free Wi-Fi and the second time to take my drivers license to sign up for the app
After I signed up for the app, I got an email requesting that I make an account and they kept asking for my account number well when I had signed up the night before in my pajamas in the lobby, no one gave me an account number so I had to go down and spend quality 20 minutes with the concierge trying to get that all figured out
The carpet in the hallways was dirty
End it just wasn’t what I was used to in the other W hotels that I’ve stayed in
Now, on a very positive note, it was a super great location in Hoboken!
easy for my niece to walk to from her apartment on the bike path
and the river park was lovely and the ferry into Manhattan was very accessible and good dining
