迪拉克民宿

The Thilak GH is a great place to stay in Hampi. The owner, Kish, is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He arranged our local rickshaw transportation through him and he provided a driver, Krishna, who speaks English well and also knows Hampi thoroughly. His local knowledge also included a lot of historical background. Kish also arranged our transportation to and from Bangalore which made things much easier. Be warned that the drive can be a bit harrowing. We did have a mixup with our airport pickup but Kish was able to solve it. Kish also made a great suggestion for us to take a day trip to the Badami caves and Aihole temples. It was a great suggestion and an excellent day trip.

Our host Kish (who also runs a neighboring guest house) was soooo awesome. He showed us various rooms until we found the one most suitable for us. The chillout restaurant is right nearby with great Western and Indian food. Centrally located, it is a minute‘s walk to the river or the temples. The shower is workable ***** with the other sanitary facilities. And the WIFi is super fast! Very safe and a lovely family downstairs. It felt like home right away. The room we stayed in is located on the second floor. Very safe. Even the occasional monkey will respect your space.

Spent five nights at the Thilak Home Stay in Hampi and we were made to feel very welcome. Kish, the proprietor is very responsive to enquiries before arrival, is happy to assist in transport to/from Hampi and his English is excellent. WiFi was good at all times. Our room was very clean and had a fan and a/c. Definitely recommended. Thilak is opposite Chill Out which does excellent food and we have also reviewed.
