This was my second visit and it confirmed
my thoughts from my previous stay. Very friendly great hosts, good beer, evening meals excellent but the breakfast is worth staying for alone. It is excellent really tasty, I will be coming back.

Lovely hotel, food was amazing. Radiators were not working when we arrived but a portable heater was provided and the bedroom radiator restored.
Only complaint - no mirror in the bedroom.

Really enjoyed my stay. Quiet in the bedroom at night. Had amazing breakfasts …veg and then vegan breakfast the following day. Good value.

The staff were lovely, the bar area had some lovely features. The bed/bedding was lovely. However, a little disappointed as the central heating in the bedroom didn't work. There was a small heater provided, but the bathroom was cold as the heated towel rail didn't work. The hot water was scalding. No mirror in the bedroom.IT was a shame, because on the whole, I really liked the place.

My rating would have been higher as food and service for dinner and breakfast were excellent. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise from the room next door, banging and talking late into the night, plus some road noise, so overall this affected my rating plus wear and tear around sink in bathroom really needs attention.
