dinner buffet to celebrate 2 birthdays in the family. roast beef and mash very tasty and succulent. pasta station had lots of choices. samgyupsal station a bit sad-looking but enough to satisfy your cravings. a selection of filipino dishes were very satisfyingly good. will definitely come back! thanks to the team for looking after us, well.done!

The location is good, near the night-out areas, fast food chains, and a mall (SM). The hotel was clean and organized. However, the only downside is their lack of responsiveness across all forms of communication. Phone calls just ring without being answered, and their landline, website, and Facebook pages are equally unresponsive. Despite a slight delay due to a problem with the keycard, the stay itself was great. The rooms are clean, and the staff are nice and polite. The greatest selling point is their cheap price.

I traveled to Iloilo for business and I was going to stay at Courtyard supposedly from March 17 to April 1. An unfortunate situation happened while I was in the middle of this trip - my mother died on March 23rd and I had to cut my trip short and leave Iloilo March 24th. I checked out of the hotel at around 7pm and I informed the front desk about my situation. Since the reservation was booked through Navan (who used Priceline) - our company travel booking application I knew that any refund for the unused leg of my trip would have to go through them. I did inform the front desk when I checked out that our travel agency might contact them and told them about the situation. I just returned home from the funeral of my mother and checked with Navan if the refund was already processed. I just found out today that Courtyard by Mariott Iloilo flat out DECLINED the refund despite knowing that the reason for the cancellation was due to the unforseen situation of my mother having died while in the middle of my business trip. The management of this hotel has no empathy towards their customer and I will never ever stay here again. I will also ensure that none of my colleagues from my company (the biggest private employer in the Philippines) will ever stay here again by writing an incident report and sending it to our leadership and executives.
I booked 3 rooms, 1 suite and 2 deluxe rooms, for 3 days and 2 nights for our wedding. The first night my fiancé had a problem with their bathtub. While he was using it the water leaked from the tub and it was flooding the floor of the bathroom. I called 3 times for room service but no one came to clean it up. I also asked for plates because we wanted to eat in our room but again no one came up to bring the plates I asked. The highlight of the catastrophic stay with them was when we checked out after our wedding. We were packing all our stuffs to bring home when 1 of the staffs gave us flowers that was put together with our stuffs from the wedding thinking it was ours as well. After an hour they called saying those flowers were not for us and it was from another wedding, asking us to bring it back because they needed it. We brought it back and spent our own money for the taxi, and they kept calling us asking if it’s already on the way when in the first place it was there fault for giving us the flowers. Flowers were delivered and they didn’t even paid for the taxi when it was delivered. We were the ones who paid for it. I am so disappointed with what happened for the whole 3 days of staying there.

We found this Hotel to be ideal in its location. Our room had a very comfortable Queensize bed with complimentary coffee maker. Room was clean, tidy and fresh. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable room rate. Breakfast buffet is Filipino Style and was well done with a selection of dishes to suit Filipino travelers Overall I would recommend this small hotel and will stay again

Although the hotel LOOKS nice and is well designed, it is so poorly operated and managed it really ruined our stay. It all started at checkin when on my booking I had requested two adjoining or adjacent rooms as we have 4 small kids and total 7 in our party. I was given two rooms on two different floors. It wasn't until I complained loudly and explained my written request that they finally accommodated us. They only gave us one key for each room and since the room requires a card key for power and air con I asked for an additional key to which they wanted more money. It went down hill badly from there. When we got to the room the kids quickly realized that both rooms doors never locked and anyone could just walk in our rooms without a key. (This was recurring throughout the stay) Next was that the room air con remotes didn't work because the batteries were dead. Next were the non working TV's. And then the broken safe. Then the non working refrigerators. After that was the non-existent hot water. That one really pissed me off as the staff decided that I was an ***** that didn't know how to operate a faucet and they were going to teach me how to turn it on after I had waited over 10 + minites for hot water in the shower, bathtub and sink. How insulting and belittling to me to think that I don't know how to turn on hot water. Ultimately the hot water that evening was at only 37c. The errors continued throughout the evening until bed with the room, towels, internet, etc. During that evening I asked to speak to a manager about my issues as they were far too numerous but I was told there wasn't one available until Friday. So I told them I wanted an appointment on Friday. Our next morning we went to the restaurant for our included breakfast. Although there were 9 workers from my count and only 4 guests we got zero service at all. Not to mention the food was all cold. Their selection was purely Philippino and very few options either. My kids had toast for breakfast. We then went swimming in their pool. It's a nice view there on top but unfortunately there were no towels for us and the bathrooms were disgusting with no way for us to wipe or clean ourselves. Can't imagine how many get back in the pool like that. Surprisingly, they did have hot water there. When we returned to the room, none of our room keys worked for either room. We got news keys again. Then as we were getting ready to leave I realized that one of the keys they gave me could actually open ANY ROOM IN THE HOTEL. I asked one of the front desk people to accompany me while I showed them and they KNEW they had given me a master key and were ok with it. What ??? Later that morning we left for the day and returned at 430pm. I anticipated meeting the manager upon my return but unfortunately they arrived at 2 and left at 4 and they decided since I left the hotel I didn't need the manager anymore. Upon returning to the room we found out that the room doors were unlocked

LLito AlfredoRustic design of the room looks dirty. Unfinished bed frame. Tiles use for the bathroom is slippery. They should have used non skid tiles. Breakfast choices is limited. Air-conditioning is not working well. They also charged when using iron and hair dryer. With their room rate compared to other hotels, this amenities are free.
I would like to bring to your attention an unpalatable situation which we found out after our check out. This has left me troubled as I made every effort to solve the issue. My Green iPhone 11, with clear case and pictures of the kids at the back was left at Room 207 last Feb. 20,2022. With confirmation from my kids, brother and our helper the phone was kept under the pillow before checkout. However, we went back to check last Feb 21,2022 to inquire if they had seen the phone, but they reported that they did NOT. I am not gonna leave a review, send an email, etc. if we are NOT sure. There's no place for us to check aside from this hotel. Right after our check out, we went home straight and the phone was missing already. 'Tho we take responsibility for this act of negligence and apologize for it but we do hope that they will help us solve the issue. *pic for reference
