I know you cannot guarantee early checks in, but I called the day before to make sure we at least asked for early. check in. We only needed to check in an hour early. We arrived at 2:25, but did not get our room until almost 3:30. It was also not the room I specifically requested on the app. Because we weren’t able to get in early(or even at 3, which is when we were scheduled to check in) we missed the wedding. By the time we got to the wedding, the ceremony was already done. We were only 10 minutes late… Also, while the front desk agent was getting rooms for people, she kept announcing room numbers on the walkie talkie, which made us feel very uncomfortable. Everyone in that lobby knew which room we were staying in, and we knew which room they were getting. It wasn’t right. We also had to come back downstairs to get our gift bag - they didn’t give it to us when we were checking in. The hotel was really clean, and the stay itself was fine. These few events I noted above were what turned us off. There was a lot of confusion, and a lack of professionalism from the front desk staff at check in.
