喬治與艾琳酒店(George & Irene Hotel)

This hotel was lovely. Right in the centre of chora with excellent access to chora Town and the bus stops to go to the beaches. Free shuttle to and from the port and the shuttle guy also helped us book trips etc The room was basic but pretty with stunning views of chora Town. Lovely friendly owners. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel!

Beautifully positioned apposite hill with stunning views of the Chora from balconies and common terrace.Polite and very helpful staff, comfortable bed, reliable wifi. There is small fridge and aircon. Friendly prices.Pick up and drop off from Ios port. Loved the place. Very much recommended.

We enjoyed our stay with George and Irene, what made this stay special was our lovely host Irene! She gave us a wonderful restaurant recommendation which we ate at for the three nights we were there. The washing line outside our room was great because we were able to hand wash clothes which then dried quickly. It was very close to town and had a supermarket at the bottom of the hill, the hill was a little bit of a walk but it means you get a great view from your room! There was a little bit of noise from the party goers but this can be fixed with ear plugs. Some parts of the room could be updated as they have aged a little but everything works fine. Overall we would highly recommend this stay!

The owners were extremely friendly and the hotel is very close to the centre of town. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We came for a 3 days-trip in the beautiful island of Ios. We stayed at George & Irene Hotel during our journey. The hotel is on the tops of Ios allowing us to admire the Chora and the sunset each night. The localisation is perfect near bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The room was simple but efficient, clean, cosy and it was very useful to have a little terrace every morning. George and Irene are lovely people, very kind, welcoming and accomodating. Due to a late ferry at the port, Irene kept our luggages all day long after our check-out that we could enjoy our last day on Ios. She was present until our departure, a big thank you to her. Staying at Ios without going through George and Irene Hotel would be missing out greek kindness. Charlotte et Julien from France

La stanza quadrupla che abbiamo riservato é invivibile, totalmente al buio, ricavata da un sottoscala, all'interno ha una puzza di muffa insopportabile. Inoltre il water era sporco, conteneva urine di altri ospiti. La puzza era nauseabonda, non so da quanto tempo non pulivano il bagno. Appena arrivate in tarda serata abbiamo provato a fare una doccia ma il tubo del braccio doccia si è rotto poco dopo. Abbiamo aspettato un'ora per la riparazione e alla fine il giorno dopo abbiamo deciso di andare via perché non è stato possibile cambiare stanza, l'hote era pieno. La migliore scelta che potevamo fare.
