I booked 3 nights through Booking. I arrived 4 am with their airport pick up. They charged my 6 nights and I noticed too late after i entered my credit card pin. I told them there is a mistake… they insisted that I booked 6 nights and I discovered that they used a completely different booking of another person!!!! To cut the story short: they havent refunded the money for different reasons one my them because “ I am rude” and shouting!!! They literally went to my room on check out out my luggage in thr lobby and kicked me out of the hotel.. literally I am not exaggerating! First they said, ok you can stay next time you come for 3 nights for free!!! What kind of solution? I live in a different continent.. then ok we will pay you when the banks open after the weekend after we deduct our commissions. Completely unacceptable but has to agree and I asked for an email confirmation before I leave and here I was called rude. I ended up at the police station. They called in the hotel brought the guy in scolded him and took my account number and promised to pay me. Nothing received! This is the short version, the long version is humiliating and painful. No hot water for one night no apologies Kettle not working I didnt even try to ask for replacement Charged me an extra night because I arrived at 4 am although i was planning to stay with my friend that morning until my room was ready and they told me that my room was ready so no need! Also didnt even try to argue because of the overall experience where it was clear that they wont get it or understand
