Our experience at the Hotel Terra in Jackson Hole was wonderful. Great location, a room with a view, and an incredible Team. The onsite restaurant, Il Villaggio Osteria was very impressive. Great bar bites & drinks in the afternoon and an excellent dinner & wine selection for the evening. Special thanks to Colleen the Concierge, Riley in the restaurant, Tyler at the front desk, and all the other great Hotel Terra team members that made our stay fantastic.

Biggest issue is that there were items advertised that were not factual. This is not a ski out hotel, the closest chair lift is a 5 minute walk and that is for expert skiers only, the normal lifts are 10+ minute walk. I read managements comments to this during our stay and when I asked the concierge about a shuttle to the lift, she asked where I got that information so we walked. Next issue is misleading room descriptions and photos. I debated between the junior suite and the one bedroom, I decided to upgrade unfortunately. When we arrived, the room just didn’t look like the photos online. We walked into the cheapest type of room, the Terra king and then there was an adjoining door to the urban studio. We asked the front desk and they indicated that the rooms were the same size and it’s what they have to work with. The hotel is in a beautiful location and the staff was very nice. Just wish the marketing department wouldn’t embellished details that I based my decisions on. Create a new category of rooms if the 1 bedroom isn’t going to be the one in the photos.

For our family, the suite was nice and had everything we needed. There is laundry (washer/dryer) available at the end of the hall. The most important amenity for us was the ability to walk to the slopes and rent our equipment at the hotel. The concierge was so helpful in setting up our dinner reservations and taking care of our ski rentals. We will definitely return to this hotel when visiting Jackson Hole.

I was very disappointed with 1 experience at the hotel. My husband and I returned to our room around 3 pm and it had not been cleaned. We got ready to go to the hot tub and were relaxing. The housekeeping staff knocked on the door , we said come in and he used his key card. We left the room quickly and I mistakenly forgot to put my watch in the the safe. On my return 45 minutes later it was gone. Only 1 person was in the the room during my absence. We notified the front desk within 2 hours of the incident after scouring the room looking everywhere in case the watch had fallen off the night table. It was nowhere to be found. We went down to the front desk and informed them of the watch being stolen/ missing. 24 hours later the hotel manager contacted me. He informed me he WOULD be talking to the staff. 48 hours after I notified the front staff the manager called to inform me he had interviewed the cleaning staff and looked through the cleaner's room who tidied our room, and my watch was not found. It took over 30 hours for the staff to be interviewed during which time I am certain the watch had long been sold. I made a police report and my insurance company has been notified. I did not feel the hotel management dealt with my stolen watch in a timely and appropriate manor. Just a word of warning The hotel location is very good, short walk to the hill. The bake goods for breakfast were excellent. Our room was small but the bathroom was well appointed

Came here to ski. Fell in love with the Terra. It’s a beautiful hotel in a perfect setting. Ski in ski out right near the restaurants and the Mangy Moose. The thing that makes this place amazing is the people. Reception, concierge, ski valet, the restaurant folks… they are wonderful and will bend over backwards to make your stay perfect.

we found the accommodations to be very comfortable. We came with our son-in-law and granddaughter. It was perfect to have a kitchen set up and enough space for everyone to spread out. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. It’s great to be so close to the slopes and rental shops. The restaurant is excellent. We will be back again next year.
