No air conditioning OR fan! Went to bed to the sound of very LOUD, live disco music from the pool area. I complained repeatedly but ended up having to use ear plugs, hold the pillow over my ear, and eventually take a sleeping pill. In the morning, unbelievably, I woke to loud construction noise as they were erecting scaffolding for renovations right across the hall from my bedroom door. Then they let it be known that they had fumigation of the entire hotel (including the beds) at 10AM. I made sure to get out of there before that.

Gerline | Joseline | Lavender and dearest smiley Emmanuel—Manny were great! Make us feel welcome. Brian at housekkeeping, them man! Willing to help and willing to stay extra to be sure we were sorted. Mercy as well, she was kind. The mainrenance team especially the electrician that came Sunday to help. Omoko and kitchen grew, awesome breakfast always! Asante sana team.

During holidays and Sundays the hotel can have some kind of entertainment for families. Sylveaster the waiter always smiling and good service. Cameline is shy but very busy. The food very delicious. Thank you Cynthia for wishing us Happy mothers day

The stay was truly exceptional. The quality of both the food and the rooms exceeded expectations. The staff, particularly individuals like Joseline, Lucy, and Shadrach, demonstrated a remarkable welcoming attitude and were always eager to cater to the needs of the guests. The breakfast provided was especially noteworthy, offering a delightful start to each day. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that left a lasting impression.

We have been to Golf Hotel severally this year. We have had a chance to use their conferencing facilities and their accommodation. The experience has been really good so far. I always look forward to a stress-free stay whenever I go. The staff are super friendly, perhaps the best service I have had at a hotel as an adult. Their prices are fair and worth every penny. A special thank you to Benard, who was very helpful to me and my team when we held conferences there in April.

I have been hosted exceptionally well here at the Golf in Kakamega. They have simply raised the bar on service, operational efficiency, the room renovations, meals, ambiance you name it. I love it here and will be back soon. Great jaaaab team

Extremely pleasant stay. Close to perfect service, always with a smile. Some remarks: - there are renewed and older rooms. The 1st ones are much nicer. - an extremely loud garden party (7 am - 3 pm) doesn't combine well with (trying to) rest during the weekend. Waking up with trembling walls :/ - the meals at the restaurant are very nice. however, the preparation of one dish varies per day, also the tenderness of the meat. very nice vegetarian dishes are offered. - a very broad selection of freshly ground coffees

The rooms were very nice and clean. The hotel in general was nice and clean and comfortable and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Dinner service was very slow. It would take a very long time to get our food. The grounds are beautiful and I felt very safe.
