伊貢戈文化中心和鄉村酒店(Igongo Country Hotel and Cultural Centre)

Very beautiful and convenient country hotel. excellent services. a wonderful breakfast . Ideal for corprate meeting, family weekend out... far better than most if not all places in Mbarara I loved Igongo. The downside was the bathroom drainage needed some repair.

Dropped in for a quick lunch enroute. The traditional buffet was ready quite early. The spread was bountiful and delicious, right from the hot French onion soup with a dash of chilli, to the chocolate cake dessert. The dawa tea with cinnamon and turmeric was a really wonderful surprise. Gloria who waited on us was very pleasant. Could do this again soon.

The family cottage is spacious and comfortable, providing sufficient privacy for the adults. The staff are friendly and professional and the breakfast is massive and tasty. We were a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and we enjoyed our one night stay, although we didn't have enough time to enjoy the surroundings.

I recommend Igongo and I say that it's the best hotel in Mbarara Uganda It was nice meeting people with hospitality experience and smiling staff always most especially House keepers and the receptionists

This beautiful property has it very own miniature bird sanctuary complete with multiple species of birds ready to serenade you day and night. Gertrude and her staff are extremely hospitable, professional and gracious. We look forward to returning.

The beds were super hard and we work up with bad back aches other than that everything was awesome. GREAT STAFF from bellman to front desk to breakfast people! The grounds and rooms were well kept.

Igongo is a well known pit stop for tourists in Uganda. But it is also a nice place to stay. Break up your journey to the west. The staff are wonderful. Ask for Annette on the desk and Beki in the SPA. Tell them I sent you. There’s also a nice museum worth the 25k admission - ask for Godson- a wealth of local knowledge.

It is a nice stopover! But please accord all people the professional service regardless of their color. I was treated differently, it was disgusting and my guest noticed it- they actually told me that I was treated differently from them!

This is a nice property. The food was wonderful and the staff accommodating.
