I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Amanzoe. Despite the high price, the service and overall experience were far below expectations. First and foremost, we were not allowed to choose a different room, even though we requested it. Additionally, our request for a late check-out was denied without any reasonable explanation. The dining experience was equally disappointing. The quality of the food was very poor, definitely not what one would expect from such an expensive establishment. The location was also inconvenient. The journey from the airport to the hotel was excessively long, adding unnecessary stress to our trip. Besides the cost was not even included. Moreover, throughout our stay, we constantly felt like we were being sold something. It was as if the staff's primary focus was to push additional products and services rather than ensure our comfort. I wrote to the hotel to address these issues, but have not yet received an response. Overall, this experience was not worth the money spent, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.

We have been to a few other Aman properties, but this particular location is as spectacular as it gets. The property is gorgeous and the staff is truly amazing. We loved our rooms, and were sad to leave after 4 days. It is worth the splurge and would love to return. It's tough to go anywhere else after this experience, nothing measures up.

Amanzoe is now one of my top of mind favourite Aman destination, along with Amanoi and Amanjiwo! This stay was the final destination of our trip in Greece. I was so happy that I rightly put Amanzoe as our last destination - save best for the last - otherwise I might keep comparing Amanzoe with other resorts. We had very smooth check-in process to begin with. All our luggages had been delivered prior my arrival in our room. Somehow the staff had known which luggages were my belongings and my partner and put in the right section - mindblowing! My spa journey was truly amazing. I took 2 hours of Amanzoe's signature spa. The therapist really put attention to detail in fact she was making sure that there was no lousy sounds outside without I asked. Also as an Asian, I can say she gave right pressure for my body! We had amphitheater private dinner and it was amazing too. Even though the cooking was not like michelin style but they provided high end ingredients for us. And not to mention, Dimitria, she was so attentive and friendly to serve our dinner. We had amazing conversation, in fact we finished our dinner on 11pm-ish - it's nice conversation with her! During our time in the beach club, the team served my drink and even remembered my favourite drink: gin and tonic and created cocktail based on my favourite ingredients! This was also part of Aman magic that make us feel home to stay again in Aman. Kudos for all the staffs from front desk, dining area, buggy services, private dinner, housekeeping, spa, and so on! Also, our beloved GM, Ernst that leads the entire Amanzoe team.

This is a worldwide unique resort, with spectacular architecture, jaw-dropping views and villas. The beach club, offers a raw private Greek sea experience, and great food! The food at the main resort was not my fav. This resort has an uber luxurious boutique, similar to Hermes or Loro Piana, with a super model running it, did not expect that! Area delight: within a 10min driving distance you can find many amazing local taverns with delicious meat or fish and Spetse island.

Many will know that the luxury-hotel-loving world divides into two groups: Amanjunkies who love every aspect of these hotels and the rest of us. As a sybaritic traveler who always turns left on planes and generally only stays in hotel suites, I have tried to love them and there are aspects of these hotels which are exceptional but I am going to weigh in here about why Amanzoe left us a bit cold. So starting with strengths: This resort is stunningly beautiful. I took many photos and especially enjoyed views from the outdoor breakfast table. There are a handful of public rooms in free-standing buildings around the ornamental pond including the cathedral-like library. That is beautifully designed and the interior is very high quality but would you want to read a book in there? Probably not (more of this later). The Villas: There are no bad rooms. All accommodation is villa-style and, other than the larger properties on site, it is only location that influences the price. These are well-appointed provided you like that rather Spartan style (of course that is very appropriate when on the Peloponnese!). I did note that the bathroom blind was crooked and the daily snacks were not usually topped up so there were a few misses on detail but the villa was spacious and comfortable, even though the desk was very tight to do any work. I liked that the bathroom had two showers and toilets. The open wardrobes separated these so the dressing areas was very close to the bath. We had poor weather for part of our stay and the patio roof leaked so the loungers and the outdoor chairs got very wet – another miss on detail – so when the sun came out you couldn’t use them. Staff are very conscientious and sweet. I especially liked the breakfast crew and the beach staff. The Beach club. Although the “beach” is nothing of the sort – there is nowhere to walk and it has imported sand - it had WiFi, fantastic service with individual sun cream bottles supplied and your beach towels were rearranged if you vacated the lounger for lunch. So, there is a much to like BUT This place is so deathly dull, dull, and almost churchlike in its quietness everywhere (apart from the beach). Every public room you enter (like the library or the bar) you are usually the only guest and if there are others they do tend to be squirreled away in another corner. Also the food is NOT good. You are stuck in this resort – it’s not near any other villages with good restaurants - so you end up eating there every evening. Breakfast is by far the best meal of the day. There is a very poor Japanese restaurant. The place you have breakfast turns into a different restaurant in the evening and I preferred this to the Japanese, though the meals were nothing to rave about. In each of my 3 stays at Amans this has been a prevailing weakness. Maybe the fans value the silence much more than cuisine? Amanzoe is one of the most amazing experiences that can be enjoyed. We had really high expectations about this marvellous hotel before our trip there, and It can be confirmed every detail that makes Amanzoe an outstanding place worth visiting. We stayed in the beach club of the hotel, whose installation are a jewell itself, as well as the beach, perfect place to have a calm and rellaxing sunbath. After 5pm we left the Beach club and drove to the hotel, in order to have a cocktail at sunset. In that moment, hotel becomes a magical place because of a mix of its privileged location and majestic arquitecture: you feel like a mortal in the God's Olympus. ;) Finally, we ended the day having dinner at the restaurant exterior, being delighted by Greek culinary specialities during latest sunset lights. I left for the end the best Amanzoe characteristic, which is the profesionalism and kindness of all of their employees, from drivers, recepcionist, beach and restaurant waiters, sommelier.. every of them contribute to an excellent service and treat that makes the visitante feel like a special person. We were inviting friends for dinner to the Greek restaurant of the hotel and the food was very poor also service very slow This hotel is hollow with no ambiance and 5km away from the beach One must be out of their mind to stay there You are in Greece at a luxury hotel with Zero ambiance and with luxury rooms with swimming pools for the fools

Einfach fantastisch! Hervorragender Service, fabelhaftes Interieur, Shuttle-Service zum Hoteleigenen Strand und Beachclub, großartiges Fitnesstudio und eine Atmosphäre, die den Geist beruhigt. Das Amanzoe ist ein großartiges Hotel, das mit seiner Liebe zum Detail (Stichwort Abschiedsgeschenk), viele andere in den Schatten stellt. Für mich war es schlichtweg Liebe auf den ersten Blick!

Before I begin, we discussed our disappointments with the manager, and our experience was corrected to the best of his and his teams ability. However, I'm sharing it here as constructive reviews are not only a great help for interested visitors (we would've appreciated knowing the shortcomings and would've thought twice about booking), but it helps manage expectations, for Amanzoe's good. We admittedly had high expectations. There was a lot wrong but most importantly for us was the food - it was absolutely horrendous. Of all things, a Greek salad (in Greece) should be done right, but it was a bowl of mush with too many overchopped, watery and tasteless tomatoes. This happened not once, but twice. Since our visit, we're put off seabass carpaccio. It was inedible. It was so grossly salty it took our breath away (the salt is to mask the age), and it was so tough we couldn't slice through it. The seafood, veg and fruit are not fresh. And if you're interested in indulging in the Greek favourites you'll be highly disappointed to find menus that are more international, and the few Greek options that are available are terribly executed. When it comes to staff, they are very very poorly trained. To the point that it was frustrating. I felt for them, because they seemed clueless in the simplest of situations. Although most were sweet natured, everyone seemed like an intern. Our takeaway was that Amanzoe prioritises aesthetic appeal over areas of great importance. We've learnt not to be fooled by beautiful grounds and a big room. No one cares for a reflective pool and pretty flowers, if their shower doesn't work properly and the food is inedible.

Ottimo resort! La nostra Villa era curata in ogni dettaglio dotata di piscina infinity + jacuzzi e palestra personale. Lo staff è stato molto disponibile e cortese, specialmente Konstantinos il maggiordomo assegnato alla nostra abitazione era sempre sorridente, ed è venuto incontro ad ogni nostra richiesta.
