My wife and I had previously stayed at Peppers Silos and enjoyed the experience. This time around it was much the same. The hotel is very conveniently located, being within easy walking distance to the Launceston CBD and local restaurants. The only minor downside to our stay was that my wife noticed the lack of body lotion in the bathroom vanity area. Other than that, highly recommended.

Best Western Launceston is a basic, but clean, safe, comfortable well-priced hotel in the centre of Launceston. It's well positioned for the Botanic Gardens and monkey enclosure, right in the centre of the city, and not too far from the river. The room had everything you'd need, or expect, for this price. But what raised the place for me was the service. On a badly delayed flight I didn't arrive until after midnight, but the night manger appeared swiftly, helped me check in, and never once complained about being dragged to the front desk in the middle of the night.

I appreciate a hotel that offers a fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave! It always helps being able to cook a little. The view was quite good too, overlooking Launceston, and it was an easy walk into town. Beds weren’t comfy with the springs being closer to the surface than I hoped. And whilst it may be small, the TV only picked up SBS Food. A good channel, but after a big day exploring it’s nice to just zone out which I couldn’t do. Would recommend for a short, overnight stay.

My partner booked this and I was a bit sceptical but was pleasantly surprised. The pods were super cool! In comparison to a regular hostel with bunk beds etc this is a great alternative and provides privacy even though everyone in the same room. Some cool functions in the actual pod which makes this a unique experience. Very clean as well. Shared bathroom facilities great. There’s also an adjoining Japanese restaurant which was great! Pods weren’t overly soundproof but I guess that’s what you generally get in hostels. However, you do have privacy to certain degree. Helpful staff giving us options for parking. All in all a fun and unique one night stay! Sorry, not greatest photo!

We had 3 rooms booked for a 2 night stay from 1st November which we booked through Booking.com. We checked into the Cornwall Hotel approximately 3.30pm on the 1st November. Upon arrival we were greeted by a pleasant staff member which gave us our keys. We all went to our rooms & were all very disappointed upon entering. The smell of filthy stained carpet , very tired & marked Furniture & the bathroom was appalling. Mould on the walls & stains that look like vomit & urine up the walls . The stainless steel shower was like a men’s urinal & was also dirty. Nothing like the pictures on the advertising. Why we didn’t just leave right then & there I don’t know. Looking for a positive I guess & hoping things would get better . We stayed in our room for approximately 1 hour before venturing out for a walk to the park followed by dinner together . We returned to the hotel at approximately 9pm . We climbed into bed shortly after & were hearing constant doors opening & closing , lots of people talking in the corridors so it was very hard to relax. Around 9.30pm very loud Alarms were going off in the corridor & the yelling & shouting began. I opened the door to see many people running down the corridors & unsavoury people yelling and swearing up & down the hall. These people were Caucasian males. This was the final straw . We got changed ,packed our bags along with our family members & went down stairs . Where we were greeted by the fire brigade & a lot of chaos, no sign of any staff at all . We went outside where we stood for the next 15 minutes or so & still no staff . No direction , no evacuation plan , nothing . We made the decision to leave the keys in the lock box on the counter. As I was waiting for my husband to bring the car to the front of the hotel to load all our luggage I saw a man behind the counter through the window from outside. I went in & asked if he was the manager in which he responded yes. I proceeded to tell him we were checking out as we were not happy with our rooms & what we had witnessed in the 1 1/2 hours of our stay there. We felt unsafe & the rooms were just filthy as well as people yelling obscenities in the corridors . He proceeded to yell at me & asked me what room numbers I had & made me feel very uncomfortable . I told him the keys were put in the box there & that we had three rooms . He moved to the front of the counter & in my face telling me I was racist & proceeded to yell at me & inciting what I believe may have been workers living in the building sitting in the foyer by saying I hated them & was racist ! This was so wrong! He was out of control and very rude. He asked what’s wrong with the room. I started telling him & he wanted me to show him. I followed him along with my elderly father up the stairs & down the corridor where he continued to yell & scream to people in the corridors that I hated them & was racist which I replied , “How dare you say that, I’ve never said such things.” I started videoing him f

The stainless steel shower was like a men’s urinal & was also dirty. Nothing like the pictures on the advertising. Why we didn’t just leave right then & there I don’t know. Looking for a positive I guess & hoping things would get better . We stayed in our room for approximately 1 hour before venturing out for a walk to the park followed by dinner together . We returned to the hotel at approximately 9pm . We climbed into bed shortly after & were hearing constant doors opening & closing , lots of people talking in the corridors so it was very hard to relax. Around 9.30pm very loud Alarms were going off in the corridor & the yelling & shouting began. I opened the door to see many people running down the corridors & unsavoury people yelling and swearing up & down the hall. These people were Caucasian males. This was the final straw . We got changed ,packed our bags along with our family members & went down stairs . Where we were greeted by the fire brigade & a lot of chaos, no sign of any staff at all . We went outside where we stood for the next 15 minutes or so & still no staff . No direction , no evacuation plan , nothing . We made the decision to leave the keys in the lock box on the counter. As I was waiting for my husband to bring the car to the front of the hotel to load all our luggage I saw a man behind the counter through the window from outside. I went in & asked if he was the manager in which he responded yes. I proceeded to tell him we were checking out as we were not happy with our rooms & what we had witnessed in the 1 1/2 hours of our stay there. We felt unsafe & the rooms were just filthy as well as people yelling obscenities in the corridors . He proceeded to yell at me & asked me what room numbers I had & made me feel very uncomfortable . I told him the keys were put in the box there & that we had three rooms . He moved to the front of the counter & in my face telling me I was racist & proceeded to yell at me & inciting what I believe may have been workers living in the building sitting in the foyer by saying I hated them & was racist ! This was so wrong! He was out of control and very rude. He asked what’s wrong with the room. I started telling him & he wanted me to show him. I followed him along with my elderly father up the stairs & down the corridor where he continued to yell & scream to people in the corridors that I hated them & was racist which I replied , “How dare you say that, I’ve never said such things.” I started videoing him f

Best Western Launceston is a basic, but clean, safe, comfortable well-priced hotel in the centre of Launceston. It's well positioned for the Botanic Gardens and monkey enclosure, right in the centre of the city, and not too far from the river. The room had everything you'd need, or expect, for this price. But what raised the place for me was the service. On a badly delayed flight I didn't arrive until after midnight, but the night manger appeared swiftly, helped me check in, and never once complained about being dragged to the front desk in the middle of the night.

這一定是澳大利亞唯一一家直接預訂比通過第三次派對收費更高的酒店。由於位置原因,我住了兩次,一次通過Air BnB,一次直接入住。Air BnB的報價似乎是通過一個很少回覆消息的傢伙的轉租,而前台也不處理他的預訂。我試圖延長我的第一次訪問,但他不回覆,所以我離開了。第二次入住我覺得可能最好直接預訂,但他們想給我換16美元多於在線。他們在受到挑戰時尊重了booking.com的價格,但這種做法似乎很差。工作人員很友善,房間很乾淨,但我不會再麻煩了。

We had 3 rooms booked for a 2 night stay from 1st November which we booked through Booking.com. We checked into the Cornwall Hotel approximately 3.30pm on the 1st November. Upon arrival we were greeted by a pleasant staff member which gave us our keys. We all went to our rooms & were all very disappointed upon entering. The smell of filthy stained carpet , very tired & marked Furniture & the bathroom was appalling. Mould on the walls & stains that look like vomit & urine up the walls . 不建議攜帶沉重行李的人，因為那裡沒有電梯（雖然衹有2層）。這個地方很美麗，因為它在山頂上，但是如果您步行去觀光/做雜貨，就不太方便了，所以我給它打個4。我們不需要太多服務，大部分衹是DIY而沒有太多服務問題，所以我給它5分。這個地方肯定很乾凈，所以5分。由於樓梯是沉重的行李，便利設施應該是3分（可能不是每個人的問題），也沒有淋浴的百葉窗或門，所以即使您非常謹慎，水也會濺到盥洗室的其他區域。
