帕德威克斯酒店(The Podworks Hotel)

房間很髒，暖氣壞了，他們給了我們一個小加熱器來解決這個問題，我們很冷，晚上會觸發火警，所以我們不得不把它關掉。當我們退房時他們告訴我們的唯一一句話是「很好，再見」。他們甚至沒有道歉。照片與我們的房間完全不符。我們要求離開並尋找另一個地方，但他們甚至不想給我們這個選擇。我嚴重建議你不要去這個地方。

如果您只是想睡覺並享受利物浦，那麼這是一個完美的地方。我們的房間沒有窗戶，但足夠舒適，適合我們探索利物浦市的兩個晚上。乾淨的浴室、暖氣、電視、房間內的咖啡和茶熱水器。就其所提供的產品而言，價格合理。最棒的是，它位於利物浦市中心。

Husband and I stayed here for one night, bank holiday Sunday. We were very scared - overthinking what we were about to walk into when looking at the reviews!!! Thankfully pleasantly surprised...we stayed in 209, 2 small flights of stairs/not as dramatic from other reviews. There were no damp smells anywhere, we had a small room but was expecting this anyway. Air con worked perfectly, shower was absolutely fine, sheets were fine. Handful of hangers in open wardrobe and on back of bathroom door. Building was clean. After reading reviews, I called the hotel and asked if I could view my room before checking in, they were more than welcome with this request. If we needed anything, were were told it will be done straight away but we didn't need anything. Only thing I would suggest is having a tea spoon in the room compared the sticks and more sugar to hand but I know if I asked, it would have been provided. Upstairs have a small shop for cold drinks and I could see a coffee machine behind the desk. Pictures were as they were in person, there are no windows but we knew this, mattress was abit firm for me personally but husband was fine. WiFi was not working although followed instructions but lots of options for television. Prime location for town centre - even wearing heels! (Cobbled street), definitely not a dodgy street how some people described!! I wouldn't say rooms are soundproof but there were no issues with noise or neighbours. Jimmy at the desk was great.

I’m not one to complain in hotels all I ask is for basic cleanliness and the pod works did not have that. The room I was given as soon as I walked in had a damp smell, hairs in the bed, hair in the shower, dirty marks in the toilet and a layer of dust on the sink. I told reception and they moved me to another room. Again in the second room hair in the shower and make up marks on the pillows. In the end up I asked for a refund and went home. The rooms are not being cleaned and I honestly would not advise anyone to stay as god knows what you could end up picking up. Very very bad.

I would not recommend the podworks hotel. We booked a 2 person room for 3 nights while in the area for an event. The location is good but there is a better choice of value chain hotels nearby at the docks. The room had not been cleaned to our liking and we immediately went to speak to the reception to ask if it could be before our stay. The receptionist assured us it had been, but we gave the example that the bin hadn't been emptied as evidence. She assured us we were wrong but if it was in fact not empty she would go and clear it and clean it right away. She didn't. I don't mind a few bits being missed but to tell us we were wrong, and to lie about actions agreed to fix it wasn't kind. We stayed 2 floors down and there was no signal or Wifi. The listing said Wifi available so we queried it and were told it had just gone down for the whole street and a BT man was fixing it at this moment. We left and came back later and it was still down, where a different receptionist laughed and said it had been down all week. There was Wifi in the reception area so it wasn't down for the whole street, just the downstairs rooms. It remained down for the entirety of our stay. Again I appreciate there are technical difficulties but I do not appreciate being lied to. There was a vent noise that was making tapping noises on the wall all night on and off. I managed OK with noise cancelling headphones and audio playing but my friend went to stay in another hotel for a night to get some sleep during our trip. (This was the Adelphi and would recommend)

Very dirty hotel!! Not clear when booking hotel as some people were staying in the pod works and other in the print works. Rooms were very dirty, went to complain and staff very unhelpful. Would not go back and would definitely not recommend.

Location was fine. What was not fine was the male security working on the night of Thursday 26th January. The man he was serving drinks to at the bar in the lounge was clearly intoxicated and was making sexual comments towards me and my friend as we were coming and going from the hotel. Made us feel incredibly uncomfortable. The “security” encouraged this behaviour by laughing and egging him on. We felt so scared to the point we never left our room and cancelled our plans to stay in our locked hotel room to avoid confrontation again. We wanted to get a train home but there wasn’t any running so we stayed up al night until check out time so we wouldn’t bump into the security guard and drunk man again. Would never recommend this place to a woman. Unsafe. Also never gave us toilet rolls.

One star because the staff were nice. Thats it! 1: Place is DIRTY!!! 2: Bed sheet had multiple hairs in it, im bald! 3: Cold water in shower. 4: Bathroom walls had strange stains on. 5: I had to clean the toilet before using! I checked out early due to a family situation, but wouldnt have stayed anyway. 6: Haven't received my deposit back yet, STAY CLEAR terrible "hotel"

Nice little hotel only problem doesn’t look like the staff can make beds, I asked the lady was this made she said yes.. but my bed looked looked like was slept in, I told the reception lady she wasn’t interested either
