Great stay and very welcoming. Cherrywood Lodge has its own free parking for guests and parking in Looe is hard to come by....so this is a real bonus! Short walk to Looe shops ,pubs and restaurants. Really comfy bed, pillows and high end bedding and towels which always makes a difference when you're away. Loved the variety of homemade jams which were presented so lovely each mornings and the smoked haddock and poached eggs were 👌

What can I say the room was lovely big but cosy , Annie and Ralph were both wonderful people making our stay feel special. And the breakfast was so delicious a choice of specials as well as the usual breakfast the homemade bread was amazing we will be back such a wonderful place to stay.

What a fabulous place, Ralph and Annie provide an outstanding b&b, very clean, everything provided for you, great location, best night sleep we’ve had in a long time, breakfast was amazing great choice, brilliant specials, we just can’t fault it, and the bonus of free parking, we shall definitely return, thank you.❤️

When we arrived Ralph,one of the hosts helped us with our cases and showed us to our lovely room ,Ralph explained about the passwords for the bedroom door and gates that you put in the key pads. He explained about the timer on the shower pump as there are some inconsiderate people that will stay in the shower for more than twenty minutes using up all the hot water so that other guests are limited (god knows who would want to stay in a shower for that long unless they have excessive body odour or legs like Bigfoot). Every room has a breakfast specials menu with lots of choice (ten I think ) so we placed our order for the following morning. Our room was fully equipped with water,tea coffee next to the kettle and milk in a small fridge (ideal for keeping the cream teas or the odd bottle of vino bought in town). The en suite bathroom has all the little goodies you get in a high class hotel ,soap,shampoo,conditioner,bar of soap,cotton buds and all the trimmings. We had two bath towels and two hand towels,also three toilet rolls,plenty to last us the whole weekend stay. Our hosts were really friendly and if you asked them anything they would try their u**ost to help you if they can. We have had a fabulous weekend and look forward to returning again next year

So unhappy that we left early and felt uncomfortable with the attitude of our hosts. We've stayed in many B&Bs but never one with a timer on the shower and told it was due to the pump having to be replaced each year due to guests taking too long. I had to decide whether to wash my hair or shave my legs as couldn't do both! We were questioned on our 1st morning about not looking happy - we were awake from 5am with the road noise so were quite tired. On the 1st morning we were asked what we wanted for breakfast and only after ordering were shown a 'specials' menu that had to be ordered for the next morning before leaving the breakfast room. We weren't aware this applied to the 'non specials' and so got the same the next day without even being asked if we wanted anything different or even if we wanted cereal which we weren't allowed to touch! We got a visit to our bedroom door the 1st morning asking if we needed anything but after asking for fresh towels we were told these are usually replaced every 2 days, even though there is a sign to say leave them in the bath/shower if replacements are required, but were reluctantly given some with a sarcastic comment about being 'clean'! We asked for additional toilet roll and told this would be replaced when the room was checked. Unfortunately the room wasn't checked and made to feel very uncomfortable asking for replacements before leaving the breakfast room the following morning then accused of saying we said we didn't need them. We got another visit to our bedroom door asking if we had a problem - yes we didn't appreciate being accused of lying about toilet rolls. We then got told the room wouldn't be checked due to Covid so how would we get fresh towels or toiletries ? We decided to leave and cut our break short, wasting £120 rather than face asking for towels and toilet rolls again and being made to feel uncomfortable! I've given an extra point as the breakfast we did get was good quality and the room was very clean.

Ralph and Annie are the most amazing hosts! Nothing was to much trouble.. our room was clean,cosy and comfortable.. Breakfast was to die for! We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next year and bringing some friends!

From the arrival to the end of our 4 day stay the experience was great, we were greeted and shown around the property. The hosts are both excellent and friendly, the room was in excellent condition and they recommended some local attractions to visit. The breakfast was of high quality and cannot be faulted. We would recommend this b and b to anybody who wants a quality stay at a good price

We had a fabulous stay here at the beginning of September, scrupulously clean, comfy beds, breakfast was all homemade and delicious. What more could we ask for! Perfect hosts. The town was a short walk away, and Looe itself was so lovely and picturesque.

Top quality spotless comfortable accommodation where Anne & Ralph were the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough for you. A great place to stay and explore Looe and the surrounding areas, within easy reach of train station.
