Geweldige ontvangst door gastvrouw! Na een mooie wandeling op de SWCP vanuit Porlock. 2 kamers geboekt, zeer nette kamers boven in het pand. Prima! Het ontbijt… geweldig! Full Inglish zo als het hoort. Het lunchpakket paste niet in de rugzak. Helemaal goed! Een aanrader!

Maison charmante, accueil plus qu'agréable, emplacement dans le village parfait. Lynton est un endroit touristique plein de charmes et sans bruits. Nous nous y sommes promenés, nous avons emprunté le funiculaire qui mène vers un bord de mer très british dans le bon sens du terme et nous sommes remontés à pied vers le village sur la falaise, ub grand moment de douceur et une vue magnifique sur la mer. Notre logeuse nous avait fourni les bonnes adresses pour aller dîner. Le lendemain nous avons eu un trè bon petit déjeuner. Très bien!

From arrival to departure, both Maria and Clive were the most welcoming hosts and loveliest of people. Nothing was too much trouble for myself, my husband, and our Westie who also had a cooked sausage every morning with us at breakfast. St Vincent House was full of character and history with many original features. We were blessed with sunshine and soooo enjoyed experiencing the beauty of this part of Devon. Thank you again Maria and Clive for your part in a wonderful trip.

Amazing hosts, our room with 4 poster and en suite just perfect . Breakfast delicious. Excellent spot in village. Loved every moment of our stay . Thank you Cliff and Michelle and Lynton and Lynmouth such a special place always in our hearts . 50th Anniversary of my first visit to these beautiful villages, first time for Michelle. Brought us even closer together .

This was our second stay at St Vincents in the 'Victory' bedroom and it was lush!!! Maria is a wonderful host, breakfast was delicious, there is a comfy superking bed and a beautiful bath to soak in We are looking forward to staying again in the new year :)

Stayed with Maria and Clive for one night after walking part of the swcp.We arrived exhausted after walking up the steep hill from Lynmouth. Clive made us tea and coffee and brought it to our room with a slice of cake. That was so much appreciated. Guest house is clean,our room was beautifully decorated and the breakfast was amazing. Maria and clive are so welcoming and friendly,I felt like we were staying with friends. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to go back soon.Thank you so much.

Absolutely superb, this has to be the best B&B we've ever stayed, nothing is to much trouble and Maria's attention to detail is outstanding, "for example" there's no struggling to open those the little sauce sachets at breakfast in the morning as a small pair of scissors is provided and Clives breakfast will set you up for the whole day, we felt very welcome as did our little dog who was also well looked after, we all hope we can return one day....

Welcoming host. Arrived later than planned as walking the SWCP. Guest house is in a quiet location but within walking distance of eating places. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend and return.

I had the most friendly and warm welcome from Maria and Clive. The house is seeped in history and fascinating. Such a comfortable night's sleep with a soak in the roll topped bath and a hearty breakfast in the morning. All this for £65. Perfect in every way guys. I shall recommend to all and hope to return myself soon

I arrived after a very long walk and was completely exhausted. The host kindly picked my friend and I up as the railway has closed for the day. An extremely kind, empathetic and genuine host - where nothing was too much bother! Extremely good value too. Breakfast was delicious. Will return with the husband. A wonderful place to stay

This has been my second visit to St. Vincent’s, both times after hiking along the coast path. The guesthouse is in easy walking distance from the path or the cliff railway (even after a hard day’s hiking) and the owners will provide you with a warm welcome, as well as nice hot showers and a comfy bed. If you are staying in the single room, the robe that you can use to get to the private bathroom in style is a nice touch. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty, and sets you up for the day. The compote is very nice. There are a number of good options for dinner in easy walking distance, from pub food to tapas. The car park and the bus stop for the Barnstaple rail link are a couple of minutes away.

What a wonderful stay we have had over the weekend. Just nothing to much trouble. And as always perfect room and breakfast by Clive. Maria was a wonderful host. And we have made two very special friends. Love coming up to here. It's a wonderful spot.

You couldn’t rate this anything other than 5* I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Maria and Clive cannot do enough for you. They’re lovely! Slept well and the breakfast was fantastic. Also extremely dog friendly and really welcome dogs. Will definitely return, thank you!
