獅門酒店(Lions Gate Hotel)

I was not aware the hotel was renovated from what used to be a military base housing until I checked in. It's small, not well-maintained or updated, and does not feel like a hotel room in any way. The bed was literally next to the door on the right as I walked in, and there was a loud humming noise from the furnace/AC that sounded like it came out from the closet which was within reach of the bed. The worst part of the room is the AC is centrally controlled for all the rooms in the entire building, so I could not adjust the temperature to my comfort. It was way too warm. I asked to change to a different room in a different building, but they could not accommodate me. I asked for a late checkout cause I couldn't sleep easily both nights due to the room temperature and loud noise but only extended by 30 minutes after I expressed my frustration. My 2 night stay was uncomfortable and at best felt like staying in a college campus dorm room. I was not a happy camper. Will post a review on Yelp for others to know.

This was my 2nd stay @ LionsGate Hotel in Sacramento CA. As before, host /all staff were pleasant, very attentive to my needs/wants, professional and made me feel very welcomed @ their establishment! My room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. Initially, I had an issue w/ my room key not working. Apparently, the room keys can easily be demagnetized & stop working when close to magnets( key fobs, phones, earphones, ect). Host fixed the problem quickly, gave me that info & no more issue 😏👍👍! I had a great breakfast, as always! Fresh , hot foods , cold foods , helpful // kind staff and good ambiance! My overall would rate as very good! I give LionsGate Hotel in Sacramento CA a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating! Definitely recommend!!!

First time here. This hotel was nice. When we checked in the attendee was super nice and very helpful he answered all my questions. The room was excellent and clean. The staff there were nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

This property had a pool and hot tub, and our room had a separate living room area. This property used to be McClellan Air Force Base, and was very beautiful. I'm putting it on my favorites list.

Woke up with bug bites. Barely slept because of the noise in the parking lot at 3AM. Definitely would not stay again.

Hôtel bien placé au calme. Chambre spacieuse. Accueil courtois. Dîner très bien. Un bon séjour dans un très joli endroit.

Short drive to Old Sac and other tourist spots. Lots of night food options around. Walmart down the street. Hotel is outdated with small rooms but clean and comfortable. Works well for a few night stay.
