卡羅溪木屋 - 露營地(Carlo Creek Cabins)

We needed a one night stay before flying into a lodge in the northern part of Denali National Park. These cabins fit the bill. They are quite basic--we stayed in one without a private bathroom--but were clean and comfortable. We saw no one else in the bath/shower area during our stay. All lodging in this area if more expensive than I would expect, so while I wouldn't say that these cabins are good value overall, they are good value for the area. If you don't need anything fancy, it's a good choice.

We stayed a couple nights at Carlo Creek Cabins. It was ok. The room was small and infested with mosquitos upon arrival. In our two day stay, we killed about 15 mosquitos. We were fortunate to have a room with a bathroom. It was good enough for the price but nothing special.

The friendly owners were very helpful in making us feel at home, sharing with us upon check-in that a young couple had a fire going in one of the community firepits that evening. We were happy to join them and share travel tips and ideas, as they were heading to where we had just traveled from! The swings and benches fronting the creek offer lovely places to pause and reflect while watching the rushing water. And our cabin had a covered front porch with chairs and stump table/stools which were very helpful in putting on and removing boots. There are two great food options within walking distance. We picked up great sack lunches from The Moose's Brew, on the road in "front" of the cabins offers great sack lunches. Across the road and creek, we enjoyed wonderful breakfasts, another option for sack lunches and the best chowder we had on the whole trip at the Creekside Bakery and Cafe.

We had a great stay in cabin D. The letter cabins are further back from the highway which is nice. The clean bathrooms are very close so it wasn’t an issue not having them in the cabin plus the summer light guarantees a lighted path. Coffee and restaurants there or across the street. These aren’t fancy cabins but they are comfortable and have everything that you need.

We really enjoyed our stay at Carlos Creek the owners/staff we're very friendly and very helpful with any and all information we asked of them I would highly recommend this place for staying reasonable prices nice clean cabins nice people and beautiful surroundings.

Quaint place with add’l cabins still under construction. Check in easy, staff nice, parking a little hard to find, but cabin cozy, comfortable, charmingly small. Shower house nearby made midnight trips a challenge but super nice facilities. Excellent location.

We stayed in cabin #1 for 3 nights in the Denali area. We wanted to be away from "Glitter Gluch" and all of the touristy cruise ship activity and Carlo Creek was just perfect. The cabin was very rustic (which was one of the reasons we chose it!), but clean and functional. Having a kitchen was a plus, although the food just across the road at both Creekside Cafe and the Perch was wonderful. The location was great for accessing the National Park and the State Park, as well as beautiful hiking off of Denali Highway. We had a lot of rain and some wind but the cabin felt very cozy to come home to. This was our first trip to Alaska, but these cabins felt like a taste of the real Alaska.

it's hard to find good lodging in the denali area - unless you like "plastic motel" type places w/ lots of people and generic rooms and "amenities' we've stayed here a number of times as we travel the north country in our pop-up camper, and we often stay in up-scale lodges when we don't feel like camping we like peace and quiet and prefer a simple log cabin - i don't mind walkng 20 steps or so to a clean toilet/shower (i've never seen them all full at once) and a clean laundry room close by and staff is quite friendly internet is so-so/adequate in cabins A-D there's a small frig and microwave, no coffee - we walk down the road to the Creekside bakery/restaurant (excellent, opens at 6AM) for all our meals

What a beautiful space. We loved every minute of our stay here. The room was cozy the scenery was beautiful and the people who work their are kind and helpful. A perfect distance from the touristy area near Denali.
