excellent service from all the staff we encountered - friendly and efficient - room was clean and warm with lots of supplies in the bathroom and lots of drinks including a large refillable glass bottle of water - location is perfect for pub tour before an event at the cheese and grain - highly recommend

We had a nice size room, bed was very comfy. Bathroom was a nice size, there was paint peeling off in bathroom but that did bother us. Unfortunately as we were facing the town Center it was very noisy at night. So didn’t get much sleep.

Interesting, old coaching? inn. Good breakfast and being asked whether I had allergies. Missed out on a car park space, because we cjecked in at 18.00 and had to park in a paying public car park 5 minutes walk away. We needed to have been advised to check in early. The large number of stairs were not a problem for usd this time but would be in the future. It was extremely irritating to have to complete a survey to access the internet. Thew first question made no sense to us, so we didn't proceed with the survey. That meant that we could not facetime our daughter.

Lovely hotel, great vibe, great location. It was a little noisy because of central town location on a Saturday night but that didn't affect the stay at all. Food was delicious both at dinner and breakfast and the customer service was impeccable

The George has had a refurbishment and it's a positive change. Food was good and room was comfortable.

Rooms a bit dated, and the shower requires a new shower head. Evening meals were very slow at coming out, well over an hour. Breakfast was ok, but again slow at coming out.

Frome central. Handy to the centre of Frome, very comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff.

We wasn't there long enough to give a thorough review as we had come to see a concert at the Cheese and Grain. The room was a bit basic with old furniture but was clean with comfortable beds. There were a few bodge jobs in the bathroom. I don't get why anyone thought it was necessary to try and fit 2 toilet roll holders, but one fell off as my friend brushed passed going to the loo. Breakfast was edible but could of done with a better sausage. Other than that it is ideal if your planning to visit the Cheese and Grain and need somewhere to stay overnight.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Only issue was radiator in room was barely warm, which is a problem on a December night!
