Nice view

The main problem was lack of staffing and poor overall service. Best examples of this were 1) dining (at their most expensive restaurant, multiple tables had dirty plates left on the table after guests left, with no bussing by staff for hours), 2) poolside (no bussing with empty glasses and plates on tables all around the pool giving it a trashy appeal; one server admitted that he was pulled in from restaurant due to pool being short-staffed), 3) bar service (main bartender was unapologetic for wrong drink being served, never a smile or greeting from her), 4) housekeeping (in-room coffee service refilled as part of housekeeping, but no coffee cups were provided), 5) cocktails (at dining, order same cocktail and each one was completely different in color and texture), 6) broken glass (at dining, served a visibility broken martini glass) . If I were at a modest hotel, I'd be accepting of such service, you get what you pay for. But this a luxury hotel with a luxury price tag. I will say that the room service was great and property is beautiful. Bottomline - spend your money elsewhere where attention to detail and sufficient staffing is not an issue.

We spent one night at Brentwood Bay Resort on our way from Mill Bay to Vancouver. We had a suite and stay was very pleasant. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We also had 3 meals on the patio of the restaurant in the hotel with a great view. The food was quite good. We highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice view fronting the harbour. Room is spacious. Staff are friendly but room cleaning somewhat was not very good. They only chabged our beds and never refilled anything else like water, creamer. Did not emptied the garbage. But overall Brentwood was a good experuence

I stayed in a dog-friendly room which was on a lower floor. The room was lovely but difficult to get luggage to, with many steps. Nespresso machine wouldn’t work in the morning but front desk staff quickly checked it and then brought me coffee from the coffee bar. Very nice!

This hotel lived up to all our expectations, the staff is wonderful, it’s small enough that we felt we were on a true get away but has plenty of amenities. Our private balcony overlooked the bay and marina and we loved watching the sunset every night from there.
