Just a lovely gem of a place! Steven and Jeanette are wonderful hosts !! Extremely attentive, making sure their guests have what they need. The rooms are spotless and each breakfast was just amazing !! Freshly prepared and so so good! Love all their fur babies !! Looking forward to visiting again!!

Our family were treated like family!! We had such a great time, the food and service was wonderful. Steven and Janette hospitality was beyond wonderful!! Their home was so warm and inviting from the time you walked in the front door. We will definitely be back!! What a hidden gem.

Excellent owners, words can't describe how amazing they are. They made us feel right at home. Best breakfast EVER. Amazing house in a perfect location. The all inclusive wine tour was worth it, and Steve made it more fun. This was my first B&B and I can't imagine any other place with host's any better. They set a high bar for all other B&B's.

Our second visit to Steven & Jeanette's Moonshadow B&B exceeded our expectations once again. We stayed two nights in the Lakeview North room, which was clean, private, quiet, and filled with thoughtful amenities and a wonderful view of Keuka Lake. The locally sourced and delicious breakfasts personally prepared and served by Jeanette & Steven helped to create an environment that welcomed the sharing of friendly and enjoyable conversation among all guests. They even went above & beyond to accommodate my gluten-free diet restriction which I truly appreciated. With the spirit of a “drama free zone” and great music quietly playing, guests are invited to the relax on the front porch overlooking Keuka Lake and the rolling hills, wander the path into their woods where rocking chairs and a wooden deck give respite, and just chill.

Jeanette and Steven were amazing hosts. Their food (both breakfast and dinner) was outstanding. They provided very helpful advice on how best to enjoy our time in the Finger Lakes. They have detailed familiarity with the wineries, restaurants and owners. Our room was perfect for us with a view of the lake. We will definitely go back again.

First of all- the food. Omg, the food! I would sleep on the floor for Jeanette's breakfasts. And plan to order their homemade pizza and salad one night. It could be the best dinner of your trip. The house faces a gorgeous view of Lake Kueka, the Luna suite was spacious and comfortable, the bed was great, and each room has an en-suite bathroom. The whole house was spotless. We also took advantage of Steven's wine tour, letting him choose the destinations (excellent and varied) and drive so we could enjoy the tastings. He delivered a beautiful charcuterie board at our third stop. After a hard day of vineyard visits, we played pool, darts, and cornhole in Moonshadow's well stocked game room. Away from our temporary home, we visited the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, hiked to several waterfalls around Ithaca (Buttermilk Falls was our favorite), and enjoyed the Corning Museum of Glass. On Jeanette and Steven's recommendation, we stopped by the Muranda dairy farm in Waterloo for a cheese tasting. It was fabulous! Watkins Glen State Park is less than an hour away and you could even add a day trip to Niagara Falls. Whatever you do during the days, plan to start and end them at Moonshadow!

This is the best bed and breakfast we have visited. The hosts are fabuous, the food is wonderful, the rooms are clean and lovely, and the view of the lake is fantastic. The guests who frequent this place are also always interesting and that makes breakfast and porch time very appealing.

Our second trip to Moonshadow. The rooms are very comfortable with up to date furnishings. Everything is clean and well appointed. The breakfast fare is really top notch and something we look forward to each morning. Steven and Jeanette are great hosts....so friendly and accommodating! Moonshadow is conveniently located with great views of Keuka Lake. A real gem in the Finger Lakes area!

Steven and Jeanette have welcomed us to Moonshadow for several years now. We always feel at home there! We also had some friends with us so it worked out great! The food was as delicious as ever! Jeanette is aware of each person’s allergies/likes and dislikes and is very accommodating. Lots of local food goes into the preparation, too. I eat it all! Steven was working with the bees to gather honey so that was educational for us. Both Steven and Jeanette are so easy to talk to. Our room was called The Loft and it was perfect for us - very comfortable. We’re early risers and it was very quiet there. I highly recommend a stay at Moonshadow! We look forward to our next visit!
