From Friday to Sunday, many local Arabs arrive and leave behind a lot of dirt, but on other days everything is clean and nice. The food is tasty, but the staff is unfriendly and doesn’t care about you. The animation is terrible. Animator Skinny was running around the hotel at the end of his shift, yelling that his work was finally over and he could go to his room. The animators drink cocktails with the tourists. They smoke around the children while playing or dancing with them. The shows are performed by the animators themselves, and they are not interesting. Don’t expect the same level of service you’d find in Turkey or Egypt. The music is not very modern; it’s either slow or remixes of old songs. The rooms are cleaned decently, but money and other things get stolen. I personally had $100 stolen, and I’ve heard similar stories from others. Information for Ukrainians - there are no russians here, people only speak English, French, and Arabic, so if you don’t know any of these languages, you’ll have a hard time communicating with the staff and solving any problems that may arise. If you’re coming to explore a new country, I’d recommend this place, but if you’re coming for a beach vacation, this hotel—or perhaps even this country—isn’t the best choice.
My recent stay at this hotel was unfortunately a mixed experience, with several areas needing significant improvement. Check-in Experience: We arrived at the hotel around 1 pm and were informed that our room would be ready by 2 pm. While we understood that delays can happen due to cleaning and late check-outs, it wasn't until 2:30 pm that we were finally given access. The wait at the reception was also less than ideal, with only one or two receptionists available to serve a large number of guests. The lack of organization in the line caused further frustration, and I believe the hotel should have had someone managing the queue to streamline the process. Room and Cleanliness: Upon finally entering our room at 3 pm, we were disappointed to find that it hadn't been cleaned yet. We had to store our luggage in the room and return later to find it cleaned. The towel situation was particularly frustrating. We were provided with only three towels for three people, which is far below the standard two towels per person that most hotels offer. To make matters worse, the towels were not replaced daily, and on one occasion, we received small hand towels that smelled bad. On another day, no towels were replaced at all. This lack of proper towel service was a significant issue during our stay. Facilities: The hotel features two pools, one of which is a smaller, quieter pool that we found enjoyable. However, the larger pool, divided by a staircase, was consistently overcrowded, making it difficult to enjoy. The beach was also a letdown, with dirty water and no sandy shore. Dining Experience: The restaurant's food was average at best. On several occasions, we struggled to find a table, and when we did, the tables were often dirty, with no utensils or water provided. The staff appeared to prioritize foreign guests over Tunisian ones, which was disappointing. Additionally, it was disheartening to see some guests taking excessive amounts of food, but this was more of a reflection on the guests than the hotel. Bars and Lounge Areas: One of the most disappointing aspects of our stay was the condition of the bars and lounge areas. The floors in the bars were consistently dirty, and it seemed as though they were not being cleaned regularly. This lack of cleanliness extended to the tables and chairs, which often had leftover crumbs, sticky surfaces, and spills that hadn't been wiped up. The chairs were a particular issue; they seemed to soak up water, likely from guests who were wet from the pool, making it uncomfortable to sit down. On several occasions, we even noticed that some of the chairs appeared to have been soiled by children, adding to the unpleasantness. This overall lack of cleanliness in the bars created an unsanitary and unwelcoming environment, which significantly detracted from our ability to relax and enjoy our time at the hotel. Definitely not a 5* but can’t fault it too much, the hotel was clean, staff were all friendly and welcoming - especially bar/ waiting on staff. Animation team were absolutely brilliant with us the whole time we were there. Always very cheerful and fun doing pool activities and getting involved with the guests. Only 1 problem with the staff was the guy who took our luggage of us, seemingly can’t of give him a good enough tip for then on he was rude towards us spoke to everyone else but not to us even when spoken too. Which was a shame because tips shouldn’t determine how you should treat someone. Bed & pillows were very comfy, the room was a good size plenty of space. We had a view facing the beach which was a nice view especially watching the sunrise in the morning - only problem was the noise at night time was very noisy especially on weekends could do with some better doors to block the noise the out. The handle to our balcony door was broken. Food was good, lots of different choices but was same throughout all week apart from Saturday, got a little sick of eating the same things. Puddings were great. Good location for the hotel, beach right opposite the hotel, lots of shops and restaurants close by within walking distance everyone even in the shops were welcoming and friendly. Pool area was good a nice big pool and big selection of sun lounges ( you have to go early to get a decent sun lounger) chilled music played throughout the day in pool area which was nice and relaxing. Lots of shade for when you get too warm in the sun. Although we didn’t have housekeeping in our room they were more than happy to help when we needed. Very friendly always got a good morning and good afternoon of them.

After reading some of the reviews I was very skeptical about our stay… We have been to many North African countries and the price didn’t reflect 5 star so were prepared that 5 star would not be worldwide 5 star. Overall, we had a great holiday, there were lots of good things about the stay, but also some areas for improvement. Positives; The hotel is spotless, the staff worked so hard to keep everywhere clean. The room was spacious, clean and had a kettle and fridge. Mongi! What an absolute gem. He is one of the best waiters I have even encountered and this was even before tipping. He has an hearing impairment and is mute, but this doesn’t affect his service. I have so much respect for him. He was so attentive and made everyone he served smile. His area was always clean, had cutlery and he offered us a drink very promptly. He gave 5 star service. (Your other servers should take note) The bar staff were friendly and the pool was very clean and well kept. Balsam who was new to the animation team was great, you could really see the hotel is trying to improve. On our last night, the restaurant had a traditional Tunisian theme which showed a massive improvement from the other nights (However it would have been useful to tell guests about this) The hotel has security who patrol the beach and grounds. The room is cleaned every day and a bottle of water is provided. Areas that could have been better; The bed was broken on one side and creaked every time my husband moved. The food was nice, but limited and as a vegetarian with allergies it was difficult as not all of the food was labelled and no allergens were displayed. Things like cucumber and mayonnaise were labelled but not the stews or rice, which would have been helpful. The entertainment was lacking, for a 5 star hotel I would have expected more. The female singer was good, but sat on her chair the whole time and didn’t show much enthusiasm. Where are the traditional drummers and dancers, do a quiz, bingo, disco with lights it was disappointing as the hotel has so much potential. The daytime activities were good, however they all seemed to be at the same time which meant you were unable to take part in multiple activities. If these were spread out it would mean guest had something to do throughout the day. The music played by the pool is sometimes inappropriate and far too loud. The air-con could be better in the rooms. It’s nice when you walk in but as you stay in there for a while you notice the lack of power. The air-con in the main lobby is also non existent. It’s great that the hotel has a shop however it never seemed to be open. Multiple times we went to the shop and it was closed or nobody was in there. When we asked at the main reception we kept getting told half an hour, 20 minutes, this went on for over an hour when eventually the man came. The gym is far too expensive. Yes it has a lot of equipment but all other five star hotels I have stayed in the gym is free. Th
