Fabulous Hotel We found Vila Monte a beautiful and peaceful place with The best service we have received in along time The team here made our stay so special and helped us celebrate our Wedding Anniversary The standard of Food was exceptional and we felt so much at home here We will return for a longer stay soon Thank you To All at Vila Monte

Le ton est donné des le portail franchi. Chemin pavé qui serpente dans une oliveraie parfaitement entretenue. L’hôtel est constitué de différents blocs d'un blanc immaculé de 2 niveaux maxi disséminés dans un vaste parc avec beaucoup d’arbres. Belle piscine, tennis. Nous avions une très vaste suite à la déco très épurée, très calme. Excellent petit-déjeuner en terrasse avec vue sur le vallon verdoyant et au loin la mer. Dîner sur les pelouses avec des plats de qualité et des portions conséquentes. Tout le personnel est très souriant et serviable. Service 5* avec transfert des bagages, service de couverture, bouteilles d’eau, petites attentions.... Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous recommandons cet hôtel.

Fabulous in every respect. If I could give this location 10 stars I would. The property, room, staff and food were all first class. The only small downside is that you have to drive into the closest town. We booked a couples massage one rainy afternoon and it was great!!

Tudo o que se pode desejar numa estadia. Serviço exemplar e personalizado de todas as equipas, sempre com uma boa comunicação. Excelentes amenities (por ex. Saco com material de ginásio e yoga no armário para uso na estadia, e os biscoitos no turndown). O unico ponto, que não desvaloriza a estadia, mas poderia ser melhorado, é a qualidade e quantidade dos produtos do PA. Saímos a sonhar voltar!

Stor, flot have. Rummeligt værelse med stor terrasse. Velholdt tennisbane. Dejligt med opvarmet pool. Hyggeligt ned to kælne katte på stedet. Der var ikke særlig rent i fitnessrummet. Pizzaerne i restauranten var lidt kedelige. Vi havde problemer med både TV og aircondition, men begge dele blev fixet, da vi henvendte os.

Exemplary service from the entire team from check in to check out. Delicious food both with breakfast and dinner dining. Vast and well kept grounds, only minor point for improvement would be activities for a rainy day. Overall will look to return in a few months when the sun is out!

Just returned from a late November stay at Vila Monte. We are frequent visitors. It is a well maintained hotel in beautiful grounds. The staff continue to provide excellent levels of service but you are made to feel relaxed and not fussed over. The 30 C heated outdoor pool was a complete joy this year (incidentally it was a warmer temperature here than the Conrad Algarve pool where we had stayed a few days before). We were here 4 nights and I swam early morning and late afternoon each day - once as the moon and stars were coming out. Bliss. I always had the pool to myself. We are due back here again in March - out of season when it is quiet is our preference. The weather can be hit and miss in November but we had warm days and only needed jackets in the evenings. Walking in the sunshine along Barril beach is one of our favourite activities - arriving back to the UK and freezing temperatures has been a bit of a shock!

Absolutely incredible experience! We wanted a totally relaxed few days with great food, a lovely hotel where we could just chill. The food was probably the best I've had, the people so incredibly sweet and willing to do everything they could for us. Can't recommend enough!

Octant Vila Monte was a lovely surprise, such a charming hotel with great service! The common areas were beautiful, the room was big and charming and there was a lot of attention to details, which made all the difference. Staff was not only kind but very professional. We had a great time and would definitely go back

We were looking for a place to stay in the Algarve which was away from the crowds of budget tourists and we definitely found this with Octant Vila Monte. The hotel is pure relaxation and luxury from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. The hotel is really multiple buildings set in beautiful gardens. We enjoyed just walking from our room to breakfast or up to reception through different parts of the garden. The adults only pool is also perfect for couples without kids. Every member of staff we encountered from reception, waitstaff, cleaners and ground staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little expensive (especially in peak periods) but why not treat yourself? The slight disadvantage of staying here is there is nothing much within a comfortable walk of the hotel and you will need a taxi or car to get out and about. This is not any trouble though and the hotel can organize a car to take you to the local village (Moncarapacho) or down to Olhão. Moncarapacho is a quaint small village which is definitely worth a visit. There is a great local restaurant call O António. We walked in for lunch one day and returned the next day for dinner. Although we did walk in I would recommend organizing a taxi via the hotel (drop of and pre arranged pickup) as there is no real footpath for pedestrians between the hotel and the town and it would be more difficult to walk at night. The restaurant is not open every day so check before you go. Olhão is only 15 min by car and on the Ria Formosa where you can take boat trips out onto the water and nearby islands. The hotel staff also recommended several good restaurants here for an eventing meal. Highly recommended and worth paying the extra.

À terceira vez no Octant Vila Monte, conseguimos continuar maravilhados com este hotel! Que Bom que é poder estar num sítio e não ter vontade de “ir lá fora”!! Parabéns! Ansiosos pela próxima estadia:)

This place is out of the movies! It is so amazing and worth every 2nd of the drive to get there! It is next level beautiful experience! Trust and go, you will not be disappointed in anyway! That’s all I want to share because it is such a special place!

Staff e pequeno almoço maravilhoso! Zona muito tranquila para quem procura uma estadia em casal ou até mesmo apenas para fugir à cidade e relaxar! Quarto limpo e cama confortável! Todo o staff super atencioso e acessível. Recomendo muito!!!!

Tutta la struttura è molto accogliente. La nostra junior suite era bellissima. La pulizia ineccepibile. Il personale qualificatissimo e gentilissimo. La gastronomia di alto livello. Non manca nulla. Una vacanza da sogno
