The hotel has a good feel to it when you arrive, secluded and quiet. The grounds are nice and the staff is friendly to be sure. The good part of the experience ends there. The food is adequate for an all inclusive but nothing to brag about. Feels like mass prepared cafeteria food. As a diamond member we got a room upgrade and that was good but it was a room with problems. The extra items we asked for in advance were not in the room, when we called to ask they said they would send them up yet they never came. The toilet ran all night, the AC didn't work well and half way through the night started dripping from the celling. I slipped on the wet floor in the morning and had to use the towels just to walk safely. At 6:30 I went to the lobby to talk to the front desk and there was no staff available. The coffee shop was 15 minutes late in opening and it took them another 10 minutes to prepare. We are supposed to have a personal butler but you can't get ahold of them. All in all, beautiful place but a let down for a Hilton. Skip It and take a cruise.
訪訪客My self respect dropped a few notches after staying at this hotel. This place is garbage! There were a large number of issues. I only gave it one star because there was no option to give it zero stars. Firstly, when we arrived, the hotel told us that ******* had not sent over our reservation that we made three days prior. They sent us away bag and baggage into Montego Bay with nowhere to go. I reached out to *******, who reached out to the hotel to confirm our reservation and we returned and checked in. we checked in because we had nowhere else to go. The following are just some of the issues that we have with the hotel. Electrical outlets didn’t work, wiring was sketchy, the toilet didn’t flush, the TV had no reception, there was no laundry service as indicated in the hotel services online. We asked and we told that there was no laundry service that day because they dry the clothes and it was raining. The bathroom door didn’t lock and it fell open when you tried to close it zero privacy for taking a shower or using the toilet . there was a gaping hole in the balcony door where the handle used to be. Air conditioner was either on or off (so you were either freezing or roasting). The ceiling fan didn’t work. There were no light fixtures, just bulbs sticking out of the wall. There is no smoke detector it was pulled out of the ceiling and you can see the wires (see picture) There were multiple light switches. We had no idea what they were for because they didn’t seem to do anything. There was an ironing board, but no iron. Housekeeping came and handed my husband a random brown tray and said it belong to the room. She laid it on the fridge, and we realized later that the reason that it was there is because there was a leak around the bulb in the ceiling and it was dripping down into the fridge where by the way, we are unknowingly charging our phones. In summary, I do not recommend this place I recommend that you stay as far away from possible. I don’t know who are these 10 out of 10 ratings on other sites and I’m pretty sure that it must be staff or the owners..
