Safari Quest

My visit to the Safari Quest has been an exhilarating one. Right from the way it’s done up as per theme to the beautiful wall art, everything connects you to the environment and encourages us to preserve our eco system. The hospitality at the hotel is impeccable. Staff is very warm and helpful. The boutique hotel feel is evident from the personal interactions with the management and staff. Food is delicious. And the experience of different Safari’s is so convenient and memorable. I recommend this quaint boutique hotel to everyone. With the Mysore feel.

Tucked away in a quiet locality in the industrial suburbs of Mysuru, Safari Quest is a jungle and wildlife themed stay, which is just a couple of hours away from Bangalore. The rooms are very well designed with wildlife painted on the walls, pictures of wild animals hung up here and there with bamboo framed mirrors in the bathroom. All the basics are in place - a lounge chair with a coffee table on one side of the room, a wall mounted desk space and chair to catch up with work if you want to, a kettle with coffee/tea bags and a water bottle, and lots of space to put away your luggage and clothes. The in-house Drongo Cafe serves a variety of cuisines. Most of what we ordered was delicious, including vegetable biryani, rotis, gulab jamoons, mixed vegetable curry, pizza and breakfast items like upma, idli-vada, dosa etc. There are 16 rooms, 8 flats and a villa with a separate entrance to choose from, for short and long stay options. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. The in-house naturalist is a pleasure to talk to and can tell you things about the flora and fauna which you may be hearing for the first time. I bought two animal print tee shirts at the in-house merchandise and souvenir shop. The Best Kept Secret is a beautiful alfresco space on the ground floor with seating space all around which serves as an entertainment zone to watch live cultural shows and sit around a blazing bonfire, with munchies on the side. The staff can help you plan your stay to absorb both the royal city sights and the wildlife sanctuaries that are a short drive away. I strongly recommend this place for singles, couples or families.

The management /staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. They made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable. Great ambience & Delicious food . Ticks all check boxes, one would expect if they are planning for a stay at Mysore . Go for it !!

We took the entire space out to celebrate my birthday with 70 adults, 26 kids & 4 dogs! We had an absolute blast to say the least. The food was fantastic. Hospitality was great. Rooms were large & comfortable. Everyone had something interesting to do (from the pottery classes, to yoga, to massages, to Vim Hoff experiences) in and around the area. The watersports session they organised was amongst the best I've experienced in India. Its location from the top safari destinations is perfect to be able to make multiple jungle visits. We even had the most incredible sightings of tiger & an elephant calf amidst her herd. 💝 I highly recommend SQ for large family & friend experiences.

Very hospitable staff, well kept rooms and delicious breakfast spread. The lunch/dinner menu also has plenty of options to choose from. They also provided us assistance with making bookings (we had not planned and was late and yet they were able to help us with the safari tickets) for the nagarahole national park safari which was very memorable. The hotel location is in a residential area away from the city traffic, yet close to all sight seeing spots. Would definitely recommend the place for families that are looking to visit Mysore for sightseeing! Looking forward to our next visit ..hopefully soon :-)

One of the funnest weekends I've had in a long time! Safari Quest will organise your entire experience in Mysore - which surprisingly (atleast to me) has everything - great wildlife & nature (SQ's specialty), good clean food, yoga (Mysore is global yoga destination) and culture. And at the end of your Safari Quest curated trip, you get one bill, you don't have to pay at each and every place - they get you the best pre-negotiated rates, important for foreigners who are otherwise likely to get taken for a ride. Safari Quest itself is wonderful with nicely designed, wildlife-themed rooms. I would strongly recommend Safari Quest for anyone visiting Mysore, Kabini or Bandipur!

We are a Family of 11 and had booked the 4 room villa in Safari Quest. We had an excellent stay here and would definitely be visiting again if we were to visit Mysore. The food was good with lots of options to choose from. They also have an activity room and can also arrange a bonfire at an additional cost. Vivek who is the group GM went out of his way to ensure that we have a good stay. Only feedback is that the rooms look new however in comparison the bathrooms appear to be a bit dated. Overall a great stay and will recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Mysore

This is place really gives a good vibe . Rooms are clean, good structure frm inside....Over all good experience staying in here !!!!!! Naming the rooms with the animals name is the hood idea .....kids really enjoyed the play area and the painting, story books section .
