奧斯曼海灣郊外小屋 - CFC 認證(Oarsman's Bay Lodge)

Ich hatte mich das erste mal in meinem Leben für einen Platz im Dorm entschieden da ich alleine unterwegs bin und die Zimmer einfach zu teuer sind für Alleinreisende. Die Ankunft war typisch Fiji mit Gesang am Strand, dann erfolgte eine Begrüßung mit Kokosnuss von Ana und das Gepäck war bereits auf den Zimmern. Die Anlage ist in einem super Zustand , alles ist sehr gepflegt, das Essen - mandatory meal plan für 129 fidschidollar mit Frühstück, Mittagessen, Kaffee, Kuchen und Obst und 3,Gänge Menü am Abend war super und abwechslungsreich. Die Lodge bietet ein tägliches Programm mit kostenlosen und kostenpflichtigen Aktivitäten an. Die Freundlichkeit der Menschen hier ist einfach umwerfend. Man hat immer das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Ich hatte eine tolle Spabehandlung bei Louisa - kann ich nur empfehlen. Aber auch Kokosnuss Bowling, Bonfire , Körbe Flechten , Kavazeremonie, Erdofen…es wird vieles geboten. Absolutely faultless AMAZING food (3 course evening meal) and cheaper meal plan than 2 other islands offering only buffet style dinners Breakfast buffet covered with lace baskets to stop flies, tea/coffee station always available and restocked/cleaned regularly Complimentary cake and fruit in the afternoons! Exceptionally beautiful beach with comfy large lounge beds in the sun and shade, hammocks and sofas etc Spacious and clean dorm with gorgeous view Hand sanitiser everywhere! Communal showers/toilets were always being cleaned, presented and smelled lovely with fresh flowers daily and lovely toiletries provided Water pressure good! Hot water too Bath towel and beach towel provided, even for dorm guests Laundry service brilliant, £30 for a full basket - smelled lovely on return Incidental night in a studio - gorgeous, no change in price Perfect combination of the kind of privacy you get in luxury resorts and inclusion and friendliness from all staff Sawa I Lau cave trip was amazing Spa - couples massage was gorgeous, staff so kind and friendly Hike trails Good quality paddle boards, snorkelling gear and kayaks Unreal amounts of different fish I was genuinely miserable to leave this place!! I had an aromatherapy massage in oarsman‘s bay lodge with Louisa. The music was really calming and the room was decorated nicely. She did an amazing job. I felt really comfortable, safe and mostly relaxed. She is a very warm and pleasant person.

We just returned from spending my 50th birthday at Oarsman’s Bay Lodge. I could not have been happier with our choice for our first trip to Fiji! We stayed Bure #2 for six nights. We loved everything about our stay. The staff was incredible, and you have seen their names many times in the reviews for good reasons. Lucy, Anna, Una, Billy, Petay (sp?) and so many more wonderful people! I don’t eat fish and had no problem eating every single meal that was put in front of me by choosing the chicken option. And I am a fairly picky eater. So, bravo to the kitchen staff for the wonderful food. The water was incredible, the paid activities were well worth it! and Oarsman’s Bay Lodge was exactly what I expected, and I truly loved every minute of it. I like to see different places, but I know for sure that I will return to Oarsmen’s Bay! Dan and Sam B.

This was our first trip to Fiji and aside from a quick convenience overnight at Denarau, it was our first accom in Fiji. Oarsmans Bay Lodge is beautifully located on a stunning sandy beach with breathtaking snorkel opportunities out the front of the accommodation. We stayed in a ocean view bure, which was perfectly equipped for a relaxing stay - own private hammock, beach shower and outdoor shower, aircon and ceiling fan, mini fridge and private verandah with ocean views. There is no TV, which ensures you appreciate the local environment and Fiji time. The meals were delicious and plentiful - with buffet breakfast, set lunch and 3 course dinner (or lovo or BBQ dinner depending on the night). We made the most of 2 spa massage trea**ents, which were absolutely heavenly, and also took part in several of the tours, including reef hopping, a cave tour and village visit. We also explored the beautiful island by foot. The Fijian singing welcome and farewell were such a special treat, and all the staff were so wonderful and very welcoming. There is nothing we would change about our stay at Oarsmans, and hope to make it back one day soon.

We really enjoyed our stay here; absolutely stunning setting and beautiful resort itself but the overall a**osphere and service was not as fantastic as what we had experienced at the resorts before coming here during the same trip. The attention to detail of the bungalows was great, food really good although you cannot choose, there is just one option per mandatory meal (not an issue for us, we enjoyed it) but the staff often felt a bit harsh when asking a question or needed help (ie - we rented a kayak at 4pm which very clearly annoyed the member of the team as we had to return it by 5pm and they ‚needed to close the shop‘ (not an issue for us, we knew that anyways and told them so) to the point where they wouldn‘t even help us getting down to the beach or back - we were told about a traditional dancing performance but declined to participate only to rather harshly be asked again later and then also in the morning why we didn‘t come…just a bit weird) Overall the best place for water activities we would say but the way we were handled left us with a little bit a sour taste in our mouths but maybe we were just unlucky. Would probably return and try again as setting and amenities were so wonderful.

We spent 3 days at Oarsman's Bay at the end of March 2024 and our experience was incredible! We stayed in a beachfront bure (#9) and it was the perfect accommodation for us as a couple. King sized bed was comfortable, air con worked great because it was very humid, lots of outdoor spaces to sit (adirondacks, hammock, loungers), mini fridge in the room, outdoor shower which we loved and of course great ocean views. The open air restaurant and shared spaces were adorable and with only 20-25 guests at any time, never felt crowded/noisy etc. It was so serene. We spent alot of time just lounging and staring at the view which was spectacular! We were unsure of what to expect with the compulsory meal package but we were not disappointed. The food was fresh and flavorful. Breakfast was a buffet style with eggs, sausage/bacon, pancakes, beans, fruit, toast, pastries etc. Lunch was a set menu but always delicious. Dinner was a chicken or fish option and again, delicious! I am gluten free and the staff always ensure a substitution was available for me at every meal - including the 4pm tea. I also am not a fan of fish and don't usually eat it, but had it twice at lunch because that was what was on the menu and it was SO good! My husband was shocked I ate it all up =) We snorkelled, kayaked, did the cultural village tour and had a massage and a facial - we recommend doing them all! We wanted to do more activities but we lost 2 days of our trip due to a flight cancellation but we heard other guests raving about the reef hopping and snorkeling trips. The staff were friendly and attentive and we really could not have asked for anything more. After leaving Oarsman's Bay we stayed at a resort on the main island and it was so underwhelming in comparison to our experience at Oarsman's! We definitely plan to return very soon!

We stayed 5 days in Burre 11, which looked to be the largest offering small kitchenette , living sauce and bedroom w AC. The best part was the large covered deck out front w chairs which provided a great retreat for us when it rained. The view from here was directly out on the ocean w a clear sunset view. We also had two Lounge chairs we positioned out on the beach under the trees which was wonderful. The staff were excellent and friendly. Most activities weee chargeable and more expensive than Coconut Beach resort we stayed at before our stay at OB. Diving provided by Blue Lagoon next door, which was 165 FD a dive. Great fish dinners were provided a the option of chicken if fish wasn’t your thing. We found the food very good for dinners deserts not so much, lunch and breakfasts were acceptable. There is a wonderful coral reef that is directly in front Blue Lagoon that was a highlight. Great hiking trail up the mountain behind for fantastic lookout. Overall we would return to OB and would recommend it to others

The food was below average and needed improvement with flavour and variety, meals weren’t worth the set price. The accomodation was tight for 3 adults and housekeeping didn’t replenish with fresh towels etc. unfortunately some of the staff didn’t seem forthcoming, however the resort has a beautiful beach and the water is pristine. Snorkeling is great around the island and it’s very relaxing.
