安德魯酒店(The Andrew Hotel)

The staff were great to work with and allowed me to checkout an hour later to accommodate my business meetings. The bathroom could use some maintenance as there was water staining on the walls but overall I enjoyed my stay.

Per my comments to the hotel, both in person and in writing, my experience was terrible. Arrived approx 1am. Got to room hoping to fall asleep after delayed flight from west coast. It was very cold in NY, and window would close all the way but to really top it off, no heat in the room. When front desk confirmed the heaters in my room didn’t work, I asked for blankets. They said they had none but offered stack of towels. Ended up emptying my luggage to cover bed with clothes and slept in my wool coat. Terrible experience. Plus carpets all over hotel were horribly stained. This place needs to close until a major renovation takes place.

We have stayed twice before at this hotel. This past stay was extremely disappointing as the front desk service was misleading. We asked the front desk person when we checked in during the evening where we could park our car other than in the underground garage. He pointed us to directly across the street in the lot where the train station is. We specifically asked him if it was ok to park there and he told us yes. We parked there on his recommendation to find that we were ticketed the next morning with 2 different tickets at a total cost of $70. In addition to the ticket, our room was terrible as the entry doors in our room and surrounding rooms slammed every time they were opened and closed, the AC unit did not work properly, the shower did not work, there was no safe in the room, could not even get a bottle of water from front desk even though we requested to pay for it. In order to get anyone to appear at the front desk during evening hours of 9pm-9:30pm, we were told by other hotel guests to bang on the counter very hard and then someone will come out to the front desk. We will never stay at this hotel and will not recommend it to our company for any of our employees to stay there for business or even personal reasons. We feel this was definitely not the experience we paid for.

The pictures do not tell the truth. I had ants in the bathroom. The furniture was cracked and chipped. Flooring was buckled. The floor had not been swept and the carpet between the beds had not been vacuumed in a long time. I found a sewing needle in the carpet. The counter in the bathroom had a crack, the width of the counter. Hallway carpets not clean. Elevator broken.

My family ended up leaving the night we got here because of how unclean it was. We asked for a different room at first and we're given one that was in worse condition than the first. Even the women at the front desk who gave us the new room was agreeing that those weren't suitable conditions to stay in overnight. She ended up giving us a refund and we had to move our entire family to a new hotel at night.

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Starting with service there was none. My room was not cleaned for 3 days as they came at 5pm when I was getting ready to go out. I simply asked for clean towels and they had none. The last day I waited 2 hours for towels, after calling 4 times, and finally had to go find them myself. The place is disgustingly dirty and looks like the windows, elevator and floors have not been cleaned in years. The smell of the room was gross. This is just a terrible place and would never there again or recommend it.
