蓋茨堡1863旅館(1863 Inn of Gettysburg)

Although it was an older building the rooms and building was clean. It had homey old fashion hotel amenities and decor. I loved the black colored make-up removal wash cloth. The dining area for breakfast was lovely and so was the food. Variety of food and good coffee. Plenty of parking and the staff was very nice. I like the bathroom set up. The toilet is away from sink. In the lobby coffee is offered all day and although the room only had a fridge and coffee maker, there is a microwave in the lobby for everyone. It was really nice! The only thing is that it is in a loud main street, but for a Spring night it was great!

About half a mile south of the center of Gettysburg with very easy access to town and to the National Park. Many shops & restaurants within walking distance, like right across the street. Five floors with easy access by two elevators makes for easy access. Parking lot is sloped so loading & unloading the car is awkward because the luggage cart kept rolling away. The view from the 5th floor overlooks Gettysburg with great sunsets to the west with the mountains on the horizon. On Sunday morning, 4 Amish horse & buggies came into town passing the 1863 INN.

Checked in late in the evening man at the front desk was nothing but a pleasure. The room was clean and super quiet. Great location to center of things! Breakfast was pleasant check out was super easy. Would definitely stay here again

Very nice hotel in perfect location for both town and National Park. Great breakfast, this is a wonderful hotel for a very reasonable price.

Good location. Close and walkable distance to downtown historic area. Short distance from battlefield and visitor center. Clean room. Bed comfortable.

Very clean and comfortable accommodations. My room was spacious and quiet. The full breakfast buffet was quite varied and routinely refreshed. Very good coffee! The property was well maintained and showed the care of its owners and staff. Great location within walking distance to the battlefield, shops, pubs and restaurants.

Great place with nice accommodations and friendly staff. This was my second stay here and I’ll definitely be back.

Only stayed overnight. Check-in was easy. Room smelled initially of cleaning solvent, which was reassuring and not particularly bothersome, as I went "nose blind" quickly. Room was comfortable. Had everything one would need for a stay, including an iron and board! TV reception was not great, but a few stripes across the screen didn't stop us watching. Room had a thermostat so could control heat. Only complaint is that the heating unit, which came on sporadically, was noisy. Beddings were light, but sufficient to keep us warm. Really, the room was sufficient and clean. And breakfast was extremely ample. It adds great value to the cost of the room!
