Cold room

Came here for a night away with my partner the staff were lovely and had a nice experience but the only thing I will mention is that after sleeping in the bed, me and my partner have woke up with bites on our skin causing spots and itchiness which has put me off coming back here maybe need to check the beddings. This has now made me wary about booking premier inn’s in the future.

This was my first stay with Premier Inn, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience overall. I was staying at the hotel for work within a scientific and auditing role, so reliable facilities and internet connectivity were extremely important. Unfortunately, the internet throughout the stay was poor and unreliable, even after being moved to other rooms. I had specifically booked an Ultimate room expecting stable Wi-Fi suitable for video calls, streaming, and remote working, but it was not fit for purpose. The most serious issue occurred when my room lost running water entirely, meaning I could not wash, shower, or use the toilet. This happened late in the evening while nearby hotels were fully booked, leaving me with little practical option other than to remain overnight despite the room not being fully usable. What made the experience worse was the handling of the situation. Staff responses felt dismissive rather than proactive, and there appeared to be very little ownership or empathy regarding the disruption caused. I understand problems can happen in any hotel, but guests expect communication, support, and a genuine effort to resolve issues professionally. There is also no meaningful food service on-site, and overall, the hotel currently feels below the standard expected for business travel accommodation. The location is convenient, but based on my experience, I would advise anyone travelling for work, particularly where dependable internet and facilities are important, to carefully consider alternative options nearby.

The young man on reception when I checked in on 03/10 was polite and helpful. Unfortunately that’s where the positives ended. Over the years I have stayed in a vast number of Premier Inns, and even have future bookings for some of their hotels. It does however appear that Premier Inn don’t want to acknowledge my grievance with the absolute filth I paid to stay in, so my loyalty to purple palaces is over.

Was slightly concerned after I read reviews as they weren't great. Outside could do with revamp...but everything else fine, nice stay.

Theeeee worst premier inn i have ever stopped at! No bar open, no restaurant, recieved an email 24hrs before arriving for our 2 night stay to inform us of no facillities in which it was too late to organise another hotel as we were up here for a wedding. Middle of nowhere, cold 'hot' water, extremely dated room, shower kept cutting out running slow, MY LIST IS ENDLESS! I really am not one to moan about things but this is an absolute disgrace for premier inn. Ive already spoken to customer services which were very nice may i add, also the staff at the hotel are lovely, its the absolute disgrace of a so called hotel im unhappy about. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

One of the worst premier inns we’ve stayed in. Hotel is in desperate need of a refurb. Slamming and rattling doors were disturbing. The WiFi didn’t appear to actually work. Curtains let in light! Room was dusty.

This is 'Premier Inn' classic! (ie old). Beefeater has shut so no breakfast. Rooms clean but tired. Bathroom has a bath (great) and some mold (not great) Bed comfy. We paid a cheap rate - would have been disappointed at the usual Premier Inn rate....
